Austrian cross-country skier Karl Rafreider was a three-time winter Olympian from 1948 at St. Moritz to 1956 at Cortina d’Ampezzo. He finished fourth, fifth and tenth with the 4x10 km relay respectively, and placed 28th over 18 km in 1948 and 35th over 15 km in 1956. Domestically, he won the national relay title with Tyrol from 1948-51.
