Blackjack May Be Coming to Indiana

Last month the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians asked Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb to allow them to offer table games at their South Bend casino, a request that could bring blackjack to the Hoosier State.
The tribe is technically based out of Michigan, but maintains the Four Winds South Bend Casino in South Bend, and the group is looking to expand their gaming offering. In addition to blackjack, the tribe is looking to bring roulette and other casino staples. Current Indiana law restricts the casino to electronic games and a poker room, with the governor having the option to expand if a compact is formed with the tribe.
The Four Winds opened in 2018 and the tribe is looking to make it as attractive a gaming option as possible. The Potawatomi already operates three casinos in Michigan, so they seem to have experience offering table blackjack to punters.
