Abstract: We firstly reviewed the development of verification and validation simulation models using agent-based paradigm.Then a process for verification and validation of agent-based simulation models was proposed,which combines face validation,sensitivity analysis,calibration and operational validation.Finally,the verification and validation of EEPSS(economic and environmental policy simulation system) was taken as an example to simply illustrate the suggested process.
