I was disgusted by the period scene and checked out ... GROSS! Movie was cool but some of it was over the top. I completed the movie kinda but uuugh that one scene I was too through. The acting was decent but I was still trying figure out the plot maybe I got distracted.

Ok I'm only on the second Ep, and the actors and actresses are solid. I find they're acting pretty decent. Not bad but the storyline. OMG please do not tell me this is going to be a full series about a Beyoncé knock off which I am sick and tired of seeing hearing anything about Beyoncé at this point in life as if she doesn't at least have enough press. Stevie Wonder can tell this is about her and who ever wrote this must be a super fan and wish they could act like this deranged character Dre. I think it's dark satire with a comedic flare. The non main characters have me dying laughing. I seen more white boy peter pongos (peen) at once more than a X RATED movie. WHat's the fascination with that that is Weird flex but ok. For this to be a Movie based in Houston the scenery is a far cry from the H I felt no connection other than mentioning spots in the H. Casting Director gets an A I like the acting just not so much the plot.

I liked the movie I think Dame's character was underdeveloped there was so much more he could have done. Majors lit that screen up everytime he was on it. I was excited to see him (not only because he was super ripped up) but I enjoyed his character. I wasn't big on the deaf parts and having to read subscripts but I like the deaf was represented. I was glad to see Wood Harris had had always been a solid actor. Never really followed Tessa or Michel B Jordan but I like Tessa's acting. MBJ was good but not that much of a believable character. Some of the storylines were rushed and not delved into more. I never seen Creed 1 or 2 but was able to follow. I seen all of Rocky joints even though the only connection was Apollo. Overall decent movie.
