Dil Bechara (2020)
A PHENOMENAL GEM.
What a tearful film from Sushanth Singh Rajput! His action was mixed with a tone of fun, cheerful and grieved! It was marvellous to witness him in this film with such a heart full performance by him and the entire cast. Female lead was so good in her role, her performance looks decent, neat with a bit touch of magnificence.
The story and screenplay were so perfect that you are lost into the world of these characters.
Thought it is an adaption from the novel, it doesn't fail to celebrate the special and early moments of life.
The film breaks your heart and tears it apart. But yet stands a special place in your heart.
Don't miss a chance to watch it.
BOTTOMLINE- a MUST WATCH TALE OF TWO HEARTS.
Jaanu (2020)
PERFECT RECREATION OF THE SAME MAGIC.
Jaanu successfully achieves the same recreation of the magic which we previously witnessed in the tamil version. Sharwanand and Samantha were at their best in potraying the roles. The songs were soothful. The screenplay could be a bit slow for the telugu audience but the performances dominate everything. Gouri G kishan who played the younger version of Jaanu was so alluring and beautiful you cannot just take your eyes off her.
BOTTOMLINE- go watch Jaanu for this valentine's day.
Street Dancer 3D (2020)
Where is the plot?
There are many questions you ask yourself when you leave the hall, some of the questions are "where is the plot?" "Why are people randomly dancing?" "Why did I waste my money on this trash?" Etc.
There is no properly constructed plot, ofcourse the dance moves of the leads were fine but it was surely overdozed. Prabhudeva is okay in his role. I can't judge or rxplain this movie any further cause that's going to give me a headache just as the movie did.
BOTTOMLINE- you can thoroughly skip this garbage.
Ghost Stories (2020)
NON-SENSE EVERYWHERE.
The film is a combination of 4 so called "ghost" stories, in which neither of the ghosts scare you it would be dumb enough to call thosr weird things and happenings as "ghost". The directors leave no clue about the proceedings, and you literally wonder every 15 seconds about what the actual hell is going on. The plot is never explained properly by the directors or it is neither questioned by the main leads in any story. Some weird stuff is happening in every story and the directors find it least to explain them and even properly conclude them.
A HUGE LET DOWN AND WASTE OF TIME.
Don't blame the actors for this output, they were just said what to do by the directors.
Bottomline- netflix started new year with a disappointment.
Gang Leader (2019)
EXTRAVALENT THRILLER
First half completely fills you up with some of the superb and major hilarious scenes ever, and vennela kishore and nani's chemistry works out to be fine well. The 5 ladies(REVENGERS) have done justice to their role, the interval bang is just terrifying. DEV's(karthikeya) character is so spooky and he fits his role very well, the writing, screenplay and direction which comes in the second half and the climax is just mind-blowing.
Nani's hit strike continues.
VIKRAM K KUMAR IS BACK WITH A PERFECT COMBACK.
Bottomline- don't miss this fun entertainer.
Chhichhore (2019)
SUPERBLY CRAFTED!
This is not a film where the friends characters are just in the backgeound laughing for hero's jokes and just shedding few tears in emotional scenes, they play a very important role and carey the film on their shoulders!
The performances are just mind blowing, after so long Shraddha kapoor has got a chance to show what she is. Sushanth is wonderful in his role, and the film also touches few social topics and leaves you with a message.
The dialogues and college episodes are just mindblowing and it brings you laughs.
You laugh so much that you no more care about the world.
The director runs the screenplay of the past and the present simultaneously which is really fresh on the film.
The sports episodes are also picturised in a clean way instead of adding a cinematic feel into it.
Bottomline- you can watch it a million times and will never be bored.
Bharat (2019)
SALMAB BHAI IS BACK WITH A GIFT ON THIS EID!
The first thing which we need to talk about in BHARAT is the performance of Salman khan, he has improved a lot compared to his previous films and delivered a tremendously great act.
The next thing are the songs, each song brings a positive vibe onto the screen and enhances to mood within you, Disha patani has got no huge screen time but she was okay with her beautiful character which she has got, Katrina kaif was good asusal. The most important thing is the goosebumps scenes which occur every 10 minutes which make you shout your guts out.
Eventhough the movie is a bit too lengthy, and the second half drags a little, we can all say that our STAR has returned with a perfect EID KA TAUFA
Bottomline- don't miss this, this is gonna remain in your patriotically worthful hearts.
Falaknuma Das (2019)
A new experience.
Falaknuma das has so much kick and energy in it, you just get transfered to the local Hyderabadadi slang, and experience a whole new set of vibes.
The screenplay and direction was superb, the songs were brilliant too. Direction was equally good, interval bang was extraordinarily portrayed.
The running time of second half is a bit long than that of first half, but everything else was not at all a problem.
The other negative characters did their role perfectly, the slang was so brilliant it feels like it's a part of you.
Performances, fights, dance moves and dialogues are fantastic.
The movie owns a different set of colour tints which seem new and fresh.
BOTTOMLINE- Vishwaken is here to stay!
De De Pyaar De (2019)
WHAT IS WRONG? The entire thing.
The movie starts with a cool and breezy note and smooth sailing like of Ashish(ajay devgan) and later on the proceedings seem to be clingy and we feel taabu only exists to take revenge on rakul preet singh and people still wonder why, maybe we can say it is a bold attempt to show case "love doesn't need age" but the movie is completely shattered away due to the screenplay, storyline and songs every 10-15 minutes. And the climax is sort of dissatisfying, and rakul only exists to show off her sizzling skin glow. And all the other characters are sort of fine with their limited space given, all to say, another average flick, just watch it if you really don't have anything else to do.🙏🏻
Ajay devgan was sort of okay and childish and funfilling loved father and a lover, taabu was great with her screen presence and attracts us.
Bottomline- de de pyaar de is not completely going to give you the deserved love.
Kalank (2019)
A DISASTROUS ATTEMPT.
Hence again bollywood proved us that It can do anything for a film, add star cast, grandeur sets, too much of graphics and songs with numerous actresses without a proper stroyline. The screenplay is so slow at one time you'll surely decide to leave the theatre, this film is not worth your time and energy, it can also be titles as "Thugs of Hindustan-2* as both of them come under the same category of remaining a flop.
Alia bhatt is one of the reason you can give this film A TRY, but nothing else captivates you. Weak and cofusing characterizations are another disastrous element to talk about in the film. Songs can be tagged as "just fine" stuff and breaks the boreness of the film.
Karan johar need to take a damn break from his career so that we no more receive movies like "Kalank" and "student of the year 2".🙏🏻
What's good?
1. Few here and there performances
2. Alia bhatt
3. Grandeur sets
4. Few songs
What's bad?
1. Storyline
2. Screenplay
3. Half-baked script
4. Proceedings
5. Douzy writing
6. Running time.
7. Improper narration
I guess the director guided the cast without giving them any script, cause he himself had got none.
Final bottomline- A disastrous and unworthy attempt from the team.
Gully Boy (2019)
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
The writing, the emotions, the brilliance, every song, every spectacular dialogue, the brilliantly conveyed social message, ranveer singh and all the other actors, the cast, the crew and finally the film, is simply MIND-BLOWING!
there will be no one who has faced tough situations in their life are are struggling to pursue and reach their goals, for all of you guys this film is actually dedicated to!
it just carries you away to the small gullys of the mumbai city and really makes you think about all the life choices and difficulties you have faced, and the raps the songs especially " APNA TIME AAYEGA " makes you feel motivated to the core of your very own heart and drives you crazy with extravalent goosebumps on your spine!
no one should really miss this film, it is such a great film,it enriches and nourishes one's view and their life about blossoming out of the great difficulties!
such a brilliant film!
just go for it!
Oru Adaar Love (2019)
A piece of half-baked cake.
The movie starts with a breezy feel, and later gets completely dragged without knowing what actually is the whole point of story is, there are completely unnecessarily dropped out songs which neither are melodious nor entertaining.
it has nothing and unlike the posters, teasers and trailers in which priya prakash was shown on a good note, she really sucks and delivers a bad performance, she needs to really cope up with her acting skills except for the portions of eye-winking scenes. there are no twists, it just goes on and on as a serial with forever pathetic romance between the lead pairs.
the second heroine( Noorin Shereef) was the only one whose screen presence is wonderful and overwhelming, rest all have got no role to play nore deliver a proper performance, few school romance scenes are really uninspiring for the youth as it is neither close to the reality nor enriches completely.
final words, this movie is not worth your time and energy.
skip it as soon as possible.
