Jesus Camp (2006)
Those Poor Children
I feel sorry for those children that are having this stuff shoved down their throats. This lady preacher is shoving it and the kids don't know what they are being exposed too or have the true understanding of Christianity. I believe God gave us common sense and some of the things I have seen in this movie grossly goes beyond common sense in a not so good way. I pray those children get a more true understanding of Christianity than what that lady on the movie is shoving down their throats. In away I believe it is child abuse the way they are doing those children. The lady preacher on that movie is no better than those Islamic extremists that Carry ak47 machine guns or that blow themselves up in the name of ala. To me that is a very dangerous way of teaching and it could get very uncomfortable up in front of the pearly gates explaining ones self to God. Don't get me wrong Christianity is the only true religion in the world. However it is not the right way to teach it. So please who ever reads this pray for those kids that were exposed to that extreme teaching in Jesus Camp.
Smokey and the Bandit Part 3 (1983)
I agree about this movie not being very good
I think the nudity and the sexuality was the best part on this movie. The rest of it should have never been made. I don't blame Burt Reynolds and Sally Field for turning that movie down. The idea of transporting a fish to the Burdettes Ranch is not a bad idea. However, it was thought out very poorly. In a way I would not have minded seeing Sally Field naked on that movie if she had accepted a part in it. She was cute looking thing back then. I agree who ever thought up this movie should be drug out on the street and shot. The transam was not the same one that was in the first two movies. So how can they say that "they brought trigger out of mothballs"?
Annapolis (2006)
The Performance
I have never been in the Naval Academy or in the United States Navy. I understood from what people have told me that all the military academies navy, army,or air-force etc.. had some very high strict standards on how cadets on how they are to present themselves and what kind of physical condition they are supposed to be in to even be considered to be accepted in the academy. According to those standards I don't see how twins could have gotten in there. Not only that the movie was nothing but a soap opera/boxing movie. They showed very little about what these candidates had to go through to become officers. Moreover I thought that black guy that fought the white guy was a wuss. I'm sure if he was really what he said he was he would have laid that white guy out in 2 seconds.I had plans to go see that movie at the theater on my birthday and I missed it. So after renting the movie last night I am glad I only spent $3.39 instead of $6.00 at the theater that would have been a serious waist of money. There might be some spoilers in there I appologise but that was the only way I could describe the movie
Galactica 1980 (1980)
Confusing
I enjoyed Galactica 1980 when I was eight years old. Of course I enjoyed anything that had spaceships shooting at each other. Well, I watched the show 13 years later on the sci-fi channel and I could tell it was not the best of TV shows ever written. I was trying to figure out how it correlated with the first season. What had happened to the original crew of the Battlestar Galactica? As for Captain Apollo, Colonel Tigh, Athena,Cassiopia, Doctor Wilkor and Jolly. The final episode was where Leutenant Starbuck was stranded did not make sense. In the final episode of the first season the fleet was in earths solar system and none of the planets were habitable. It was like the fleet backtracked in some area of the galaxy fighting the Cylons.
