Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse with Anderson's Resident Evil film series he proved me wrong. Retribution is downright abysmal. There is nothing redeeming about this movie. The action is stupid and over the the top. The CGI looks awful. The story is paper thing and once again bastardizes main characters from the game series. Previous characters from the last garbage fest movie don't even show up and are just briefly mentioned. This is hands down the worst one in the series so far and considering what the series is as a whole that's really saying something.
Umbrella Chronicles is nothing more than a fan service asset flip that does little to add anything to the lore. Unless you count a scenario where you go to Russia and fight a painfully generic boss as adding to the lore. The overall package is dull and boring and brings nothing to the table.
