This Belgian series is one of my favorite children's programs of all time. Although it will appear somewhat strange for those not familiar with 'Sinterklaas', for those who are it is magnificent. Each episode contains a short, well-written story with lots of humor and a wonderful, almost magical atmosphere. The acting is very good, this Sinterklaas, played by Jan Decleir, is one of the best that ever appeared on screen. For all Dutch and Belgian people who like Sinterklaas: this is the best there is. Decleir is one of Belgium's most awarded actors, and has starred in several films and television series.
