Antebellum is not what I thought it was going to be. In my opinion it is no horror since I wasn't scared once. However it was a great and smart thriller that plays with chronology to establish the story and there giving it a big twist that makes the movie a hundred times better than the trailer shows.

Some parts weren't as believable as others but the cinematography was outstanding and the acting was A+!

Disclaimer: there's a lot of abuse in this movie which was really tough to watch, but I'm glad I did, cause it made me think, which I hope you will too after seeing this great movie that is nothing like its predecessors 'Get Out' and 'Us'.

Very enjoyable, but it's a lot of the same the second season around. The supporting characters fall flat and the storyline is a lot of the same trick being played over and over again. The cast is still amazing and the visuals are perfect but it's not enough to save this second season. The good thing is I'm curious to see what a season three will hold for us, because it's still good tv.

I have watched the whole series in one day and overall it is highly enjoyable. Cause of that being the acting and cinematography. The show is truly beautiful to look at, the story is engaging and the cast is A+.

Having said that, I must say the show is too ambitious for itself. It tries to include everything like race and sexuality. Therefore sometimes scenes feel disjointed.

You should still watch this, because the show has so much heart and great, deep and layered characters.

Conclusion, it is great and will not bore you at all. But it is too ambitious and therefore the show loses its believability.
