Seeing as the budget for this series easily surpasses $1 Billion, fans should, rightfully so, expect nothing more than the best. However, this is not that show. If you don't mind watching something that is just okay, this show might be for you. Otherwise, you will be constantly disappointed in the god awful acting, bad storytelling, the big plot holes that can't possibly be overlooked, the sets that look abandoned after putting in half of the effort, the characters making illogical decisions to push the plot forward, the list goes on and on.
Some of the scenes feel like the directors had no idea what they were going to be filming that day, and just did everything on a whim.
The acting in this is so unbelievably bad. The actors speak with strange accents, making a few characters sound garbled. The dwarves all have Scottish accents here for some reason. Say what you will about the Hobbit movies, at least the Dwarves were all unique and distinguishable!
The story also moves at a glacial pace. In a few episodes the plot does not move forward at all. This would be fine if the show took this time to have more character development, however that opportunity is missed also.
I have watched the first two seasons thinking it would improve, but every episode I am disappointed again. Aside from the people who made the costumes, which is the one saving grace in this series, it feels like everyone is just doing the bare minimum.

Hunt is a gritty action packed movie. It hits the ground rolling from the very start and doesn't stop for a breather at any moment. The action scenes are all very well done and feel realistic with a lot of human emotion. The acting is very convincing as well.
Unfortunately, the story is a bit difficult to follow. Sure, it is easy to follow the over arching story but there will be moments where you are scratching your head over the intricate details.
Perhaps Hunt relied too much on action and drama, and therefore forgot to slow things down and explain to the viewers what is happening, who this character is, or what their deal is exactly.

Whoever said anime can't have good storytelling? Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is an extremely well crafted work of art.
Our story begins, oddly. With Frieren having already completing the most consequential journey that the world has ever seen. Her and her compatriots successfully defeated the Demon King and have brought a prolonged peace to the land!
Normally, we would instead be watching her on that very journey, but this is not a normal work of storytelling. Although that journey was more consequential to the world, it was not so much to Frieren herself. Beyond Journey's End instead showcases Frieren on a new journey, but this time it is solely focused on personal growth. Rather than being plot driven, it is a character driven story.
The animation style, music, voice acting, and storytelling are all phenomenally well done. I also enjoyed the slow pacing, and the characters moving to a new location almost every episode. The series never felt stale or boring.
