Since the other review here is auto-generated... Nikke is a game that is mainly made for mobile, but has also gained popular on PC in the last year.
I play this game on auto-battle, but don't let that stop you from reading on. This is an incredible game, even on autobattle.
If you like story: post-apocalyptic world where gorgeous female cybernetic warriors are being manufactured by a few massive corporations. These corporations basically rule whats left of the world, which is The Ark, similar to a massive vault in Fallout. There are several human commanders who lead these squads of "Nikkes" into battle. You will play as one such commander. Your squad will build an Outpost on the surface, at the top of the elevator to The Ark. You will lead squads of Nikkes out into the post-apocalyptic world to fight "Raptures" which are hordes of robots intent on the total annihilation of humanity.
If you like visuals: this is a Mature game. The females will be scantily-clad with ample physics. You will choose a squad of 5 Nikkes, which you will pull for, GACHA style. You choose your waifus, type thing. The women are gorgeous, the level designs are appropriate to the world setting, and they vary enough that I've never noticed too much repetition in levels.
If you want to use your skills: You can push way deeper into the content by turning off auto-battle and learning the game mechanics. If you do, you'll find a fun and responsive point and shoot gameplay. Your selection of Nikke, timing of cover, timing of ultimate use, rotation of skills, etc. Will make your teams shine, if well crafted. But, I just log in daily, gather mats and build up my Nikkes well enough that I don't need to turn off auto-battle very much.
Side content: There is more side-content than I'll even begin to describe. You can spend hours and hours in side-stories, side-quest, companion quests. They have reasonably in-depth events, with full stories for each event, occasionally voice acted.
Voice acting: Top-tier in English or Japanese, I can't speak for the other languages. You will find many top-tier anime va's in this cast. At first it will seem comical, with the hot girl dynamics. But, the story is actually soooooo good. It really is. You will find each of the many characters in this game memorable, and their voice-actors always bring their best.
So, if you are into gacha or mobile gaming or pretty women with guns, give it a try. Also, the story being incredible doesn't hurt.

Rowan can be such a fun actress. While some might think of her performance in Girl Meets World to be a bit plastic, I always saw a star in the making. I read an interview about this film, right before its release; Rowan said she was carefully picking and choosing roles, not trying to burn-out or become old-news at such a young age. She said this wasn't an 'LGBTQ+ film", rather it's a heartwarming story, which happens to have a lesbian main-character. As a leftist, I've seen a lot of cringe-worthy leftist films. This isn't one of them. Yes, there are probably a bit more LGBTQ+ characters in this school than your average American standard, but it doesn't feel forced. Which was their goal. So, mission accomplished. Everything you could love about Rowan Blanchard as an actress comes out in this film. We get that bubbly girl from Girl Meets World, mixed with a more mature artist. She is fun, funny, adorable, and serious; all to perfection. The film was fun to watch. The other cast were also great actors. This could/should be alongside American Pie as a teen-coming-of-age film which is equally hilarious and poignant. Well done!
There were moments in seasons 3-5 that I loved. But, the show has been plagued with a combination of horrible characters and overly melodramatic acting. Often, I found myself wishing a "good" character would die, just because they annoyed me so much. I usually never feel this way with shows. Rick's wife, and that guy she was sleeping with in the first two seasons were both annoying beyond belief, for instance.
It's unfortunate because the show had magnificent set design, costume design, and the zombies were top notch. The post-apocalyptic world they built was unrivaled by most shows or films in the genre.
But, I just couldn't get past the mind-numbingly bad storylines. I felt dumber for watching the show. I'm fine with dumb fun. But this just felt like it was aiming to be clever and totally missing the mark. It's really hard to describe. I'm all in on stupid stuff like Superbad, and I love the classics, like Fellini, Polanski, and Stanley Kubrick created. But, I could just never find a place for this show to fit for me. I watched it for five seasons. I could honestly say I quite enjoyed a decent portion of seasons 3-5, but once Negan arrived, and everyone was OH I LOVE NEGAN, WALKING DEAD IS THE BEST SHOW EVER!!!, I realized this show would never be for me, and I tapped out.
Now, It seems that I saw the writing on the wall, and got out before it took a true dive into the sewers. I considered coming back, but reviews of the last two seasons have been overwhelmingly negative. So good riddance. Oh well.
