Worst casting decision, poor cinematography, below average editing and above all a TV serial "like" direction with a few physics defying inadvertently hilarious action sequences make this quarter boiled remake a must watch to understand how not to make a film.

Doesn't seem to be an Annavru film. It has a strong message against drug abuse and smuggling. However, the story is poorly executed and doesn't leave anything for us to remember as a token. The usual good vs bad stuff spoilt by excessive action and family sentiments.

I have not seen all the films of Dr. Rajkumar or at least those "classics ". But then Akasmika was the first Rajkumar film which I saw and seriously it was a good film. Well composed soundtrack, beautiful background score and powerful performances though the story seems to deviate from the central theme at times.
