I have watched this movie today for the very first time and I'm glad I didn't go to see it to the theater before when it's been screened. A very big disappointment.

Besides poor scripting for me personally it was yet another sad to watch another movie in which Polish women treat themselves with no respect. Why are there so many movies with this motive being so emphasized? The movie itself is mild and doesn't surprise watcher with anything. Also, don't understand how this has been classified as comedy. It's a very sad picture to watch. Too bad cause I liked the main actress (Agnieszka Grochowska).

I went to see this one with big enthusiasm and anticipation after seeing Testosteron. Lejdis was supposed to be a female version / kind of follow up to Testosteron treating about men self reflecting on their lives and flaws and simplicity men are full of. All put in fun, not very offensive and well played form.

With Lejdis on the other hand what I saw in the cinema was an awful and disgraceful picture of modern women. Being brutal and fixed on unhealthy rivalry with men women are presented as bad and frustrated. Rarely funny and very vulgar. I was hoping to see something with intelligent humor and flow but ended up seeing violent and non-sophisticated flat storyline.

Too bad cause I like some actresses starring in Lejdis from other productions. This on unfortunately is very poor.

Technically this series is well handled. Also actors performance is good. Yet, cinema should be more. I feel like with this series we crossing another line with what content should be promoted (and what shouldn't). If I wanted to watch a porn movie, I would have done that. I don't support this foul and corrupted picture. It strikes me that so influential people are being used to promote such material which in fact is not showing anything new, yet in so unnecessarily obscene way. So disappointed with where we are headed by producers and directors. And from what I'm reading here's I'm not the only one.
