By inventively merging mind-bending science fiction with dark comedy, COUNTER CLOCKWISE delivers a hugely entertaining thriller about a befuddled time travelling scientist caught up in a murder mystery. Bearded scientist Ethan Walker is obsessively working on inventing a tele-transportation device. Instead he stumbles into inventing a time machine and recklessly zaps himself six months into the future. Ethen finds that the future has taken a sinister tone as men are out to kill him and the police are looking for him for the murder of his sister and wife. He now needs to try to return to the point right before everything went wrong and solve the mysteries. Easier said than done. An inventive, head-scratching, fast-paced American Indie time-travelling gem.

The word 'Dooto' is featured in hidden ways throughout the movie which is in reference to 'Ruffa-Dooto' the nickname of the dog of one of the director's oldest friends.

Goofs
At approximately the 24 minutes into the movie, Ethan is being shown the death of his sister and wife on the internet. The article misspells the word roughly as "rougly". However, at the 1:04 minute mark, when Ethan is thinking about that article, the word roughly is now correctly spelled.

A Mess

I really love films concerning time travel so was looking forward to watching this. Unfortunately it was a mess. I know nothing about making films or directing but even I could tell it was badly edited and poor techniques. It really felt like a school project than an actual film.

Other reviewer has compared it to Primer but at least that film looks professional and is actually a decent if complex film to watch.

Anyway I would avoid this film. It really is a mess with poor acting, poor editing and a plot that makes no sense and is unbelievable. The numbers going across the computer screen when they use the "teleport" is 1980s portrayal of computers.
