The director, Teddy Kirdy, shot this film as his first, as a University of Missouri film production student with not a single person on set besides him and two actors, Hassen Kacem and Jack Trusler. After helping on his first professional set with Retro Hawk Productions on the film 'Just Try,' he was captivated by the location, Alpine Park and Gardens. Kirdy knew he needed to film there, and this project fulfilled the mission.
This is the second time Kirdy would work together with Hassen Kacem, after meeting Kacem through the Mizzou film club, "Shot Reverse Shot", and working with Hassen as Quinn Jones in 'Pitch Black.
