    Very good

Watched all the episodes twice over and it's one of my favourites.

I don't know why they cancelled it since it really was one of the bests. Most of my favourite tv shows come from the 2013 (ish) period and I don't think you can beat them.

Great Comedy with Nothing Too Heavy.

First off I'm an American who loves British comedies. So I fully understand that there are going to be parts of the show I may have a hard time understanding (both because of accents and references to places or things in England). For me that is one of the reasons I love watching British sitcoms. I learn a little and laugh a lot. This sitcom is about 4 friends (not 3) who have known each other from school and have grown up in the same neighborhood in England (I think Manchester, but not too important where it is in this show). They all have their issues with girlfriends or jobs and are simple people with strong friendships. While the show is really about men being men and trying to get a rise out of each other it is also about the strong bond friends have when they have been friends since childhood. Trust me, this show isn't breaking any boundaries or is not a deep thought provoking watch but is worth the time. It's the kind of show you watch when you are a little down and you want something to make you laugh and forget about your job or obligations for an hour. It does the trick for sure and it is actually funny how men are the same not matter where they come from. Even with England being 3500 miles away from the US the things friends do are so similar. So save this for a weekend and crack open a beer because this show is simple, funny, and about all kinds of trouble that 4 friends get into when they forget they aren't 15 any more. It's hard to follow at points with the British accent (of course not if you are from there), but if you are a man you can put the pieces together and figure out just about everything because you most likely did something similar. I am sad it appears they are not making any more episodes because you really start bonding with the characters and want to find out what trouble they will find next weekend. So if you like deep shows this may not be for you but if you like to keep your sitcoms simple because your life is complex then give it a try. 4 men being men and friends. I think that is all this review needs and most will know what to expect.

    Just what it is.....

At long last something that is a joy to watch from the beginning to the end, one hour of mayhem but down to earth humour that is lacking of late on TV ! I see a mixture of Early Doors,The Royal Family and earlier episodes of Shameless, without the smut of most of what we see today.I am not a prude and love a good helping of laughter medicine. The actors which have been chosen for this brilliant comedy are all just perfect even down to the pair of dancers in the nightclub scene great!Whoever wrote this is on to a winner. One hour is not enough you end up wanting more.... I have to admit I am not a fan of alternative comedy, the younger generation have made their choice by watching a lot of the old comedy repeats this proves a lot.....Roll on next weeks episode and we will all have a great night in.

One of the Best of the Decade

This was a brilliant series, sadly the network, in their deranged wisdom, cancelled it after the one series.

The series was well written, hilarious in a way that even sitcoms with 6 or 7 series behind could only wish they produced such funny 'situations' and 'actual laugh out loud comedy'.

If you enjoyed the original series of Cold Feet, you will like, it doesn't have the pathos of CF, but it's on a par in all other aspects.

Binged the series in one day

I didn't really enjoy the first episode and was about to bin it off but gave the second episode an opportunity and I'm glad I did, throughly enjoyable quirky comedy.

I'd say it's a cross between a grown up version of Inbetweeners and Plebs

    Worth a watch 👌🏻

Actor Stephen Walters, who plays Daz in the series, described the show by saying: "Great Night Out is a positive and upbeat comedy drama series and audiences love that sort of escapism. People don't always want to sit though something dark and hard-hitting and depressing. There's a place for those sort of shows, but at a time when people are tightening their belts this series is all about warmth, friendship and pure escapism."
