More Than Planes Were Hijacked

This is my favorite Bones episode. Partly because it's one of the few that brings all of my favorite squints together. But mostly because of the message in the words of Mr. Vaziri, "The Crusades, the Inquisition. Are these events guided by a religion of peace? No, they were guided by self-important men who think they know more than the God they claim to worship. This was not the work of religion. It was arrogance. It was hypocrisy. It was hate. Those horrible men who hijacked those planes hijacked my religion that day, too. They insulted my God." This was filmed near the end of President Obama's 1st term, long before American Christian Nationalists sank to the same level of arrogance, hypocrisy and hate and attacked our Capitol. This is a message the free people of Earth should take to heart. Religion is Love. Hate or violence in the name of ANY religion is just Man hijacking something beautiful for an excuse to do evil to those he hates. This story was incredibly prescient. And well-done.
