I put off watching this movie as I enjoyed the leads' previous pairing in 'The Beauty of Love' so much that I didn't want to associate them with a thriller. However Stoddard himself said how much fun it was to do this a sort of unrelated 'sequel', with the same actors playing the next stage of a relationship, albeit as different characters in a different genre, so I gave it a go. Despite being a slightly darker movie, it is still a feel-good story. Furthermore, I can actually relate to the plot having had people take advantage of my health issues and make me the scapegoat for their manipulative ways. I'm so glad they covered a women's health topic - maybe next the duo could cover Hollywood's final taboo ... the menopause.
