As the back-to-school rush arrives, Netflix has dropped a perfect mix of new titles and classic flicks right in time to procrastinate homework, work and whatever else life has in store.

This month, the streaming service will serve up a dark comedy featuring Camila Mendes, Ana de Armas’ rendition of Marilyn Monroe and a highly anticipated reunion episode of “Love is Blind.”

As far as library titles, “A Little Princess,” “Clueless,” “If Beale Street Could Talk,” “The Notebook” and “This Is 40” will find a home on Netflix. The streaming service will also add parts of beloved film series, including “Despicable Me,” “Austin Powers” and “Resident Evil.”

Another summer of content has come and gone in the streaming world. And to celebrate the arrival of fall, Netflix is filling its list of new releases for September 2022 with, what else? More content!

Netflix is never shy about loading up its servers each month but September 2022 is a particularly packed time for the streamer, particularly when it comes to movies. The list of prominent Netflix original movies includes: road trip thriller End of the Road (Sept. 9), Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes-starring dark comedy Do Revenge (Sept. 16), and the Marilyn Monroe epic biopic Blonde (Sept. 28).

That’s not even to mention the usual arrival of new library titles, which are particularly juicy this fall. September 1 sees the arrival of A Clockwork Orange, Clueless, Scarface, and more. Meanwhile This is the End is set to roll on Sept. 16.

Netflix has announced its full fall movie slate, including release dates for a number of films that will be opening in select theaters before they’re on the streaming service.

That includes Oscar-winning “Birdman” and “The Revenant” director Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s new film “Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths.” Described as an “epic, visually stunning and immersive experience” the film stars Daniel Giménez Cacho as a renowned Mexican journalist and documentary filmmaker living in Los Angeles, who, after being named the recipient of a prestigious international award, is compelled to return to his native country, unaware that this simple trip will push him to an existential limit.

Highly anticipated titles like “Blonde,” starring Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe, and Noah Baumbach’s “White Noise” are coming to the streaming service as they make their way around the festival circuit. Just as long-awaited are sequels “Enola Holmes 2...

Here in its near entirety are the streaming and some theatrical dates for Netflix’s fall and holiday movie lineup.

Many of these streaming dates have already been out there, i.e. the TIFF world premiere Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery hitting the service on Dec. 23 (yet still not theatrically dated). However, there’s 13 movies getting dates here, read Alejandro Iñárritu’s Venice Film Festival world premiere Bardo, which is getting an exclusive month and half theatrical window before it hits the service.

There’s also the Jessica Chastain-Eddie Redmayne drama thriller The Good Nurse (world premiering at TIFF), Noah Baumbach’s Venice and New York film festival opener White Noise, Sally Hosaini’s TIFF opener The Swimmers, Henry Selick’s animated pic Wendell & Wild (also at TIFF), and Scott Cooper’s period crime drama about Edgar Allen Poe, The Pale Blue Eye and The Volcano:...
