The documentary was very well done exposing the truth and not fantasy versions by killer. I remember very well the day I heard the news of Dani's death on TV, I was shocked, because I didn't understand how someone could take the life of such a beautiful person inside and outside. That's why, after 30 years of her death, nothing fairer than keeping what happened alive, because we can never forget about that macabre night that took Daniela's life, victim of two monstrous psychopaths who don't deserve the slightest consideration and respect from anyone and not even the right to live in society. What a shame we don't have the death penalty here in our country, because it would be the least what these monstrous psychopaths deserved to have for what they did to her.
In conclusion, I recommend you to see this documentary because it was very well done and shows only the truth and nothing else. Congratulations to whoever produced it.

It was entitled The Night That Never Ended, but probably would have been better titled "the explanation of how we learned that she had been killed that never ended." We really don't need to know every word that was said by everyone to everyone else involved, (before finding out that she has been killed) five times over. This has obvious undertones of wanting a single or two episode show to last a really long time. An amazingly interesting case where the telling of- turned quite boring before it had a chance to really get underway.
This is more than just a criminal investigation, which it is. It is also about the effects it had on the mother of the victim, and her important role in finding the truth. I don't understand how imperfect the system still is, and in cases like these, of extremely violent premeditated crimes, how little justice is served. An eye for an eye, seems to me, would be more appropriate. Can a criminal redeem itself? Maybe. But one must be held accountable for taking someone's life. I was left baffled at the end. I swallowed dry and clenched my hands as we hear the mother's remarks at the ene, and we see Daniella's hopes and dreams for her future. When a life like that is taken, it was not just of that person, but the grandchildren and extra family members that mother never had. And sadly never will.
Amazing documentary revealing shocking details of the murder of Daniella Perez, brazilian actress and daughter of famous telenovelas author Gloria Perez.
A deep and emotional dive into a murder that shocked Brazil, that brings to the table not only the circunstances of the crime, but also many layers of the unfolding events. Daniella death was only the beginning. The young artist wasn't only killed; her reputation was tarnished and even her body couldn't rest in peace. I was too young to remember the details about the case, but old enough to be mislead by the sensationalist media. So a documentary like this one is important to bring to the light - and to Brazilians' collective memory - not only what really happened, but also the much darker reality we can't help but witness: the incompetence of the justice system, the corruption of the police and the horror circus created by the same media that fuelled the ego of the murderer. But, more than that, the series emotional core - Daniella's family, in particular her mother Gloria - reminds us that beyond all the horror, there are people. People who remember, 30 years after. Gloria's remarks are deeply impactful.
