This documentary in an unusual way explores both advantages and challenges of being on the internet. I purposely didn't use the phrase "using the internet", because here the idea of how the Internet, in the face of several corporations, uses us shines through. But that's just one of the many broad topics explored in this film. The director has managed to convincingly render the wide range of emotions that accompany our constant presence on the internet, with its barrage of information and stimuli. This film gave me a profound understanding of the personal, societal, and environmental costs of our digital age, all through glimpses and thematic outlines, without moralizing or imposing interpretations.
