The archer, Grim, in the credits played by Kristian Espedal is also known as Gaahl, the lead vocalist of Norwegian black metal band God Seed (formerly of Gorgoroth).
The scene with the log-bridge over the chasm was shot on a road surrounded by rocks. The rocks where only 3 meters (10 feet) high. The chasm was inserted in post production.
