    Well crafted and fascinating documentary.

This is a very entertaining look at a historically important theatre group which continues to make essential contributions to American cultural life outside our large urban areas.

Wolkowitiz's camera work and pacing carry the viewer along on an interesting journey into parts of the country that many will be unfamiliar with. This fact is one of the most appealing aspects of the film as we see the actors interact with audiences new to live professional theatre.

"Still on the Road" is a notable contribution to the history of American theatre.

    This is a great documentary

This movie is really beautifully made. It's also informative in an interesting and funny way about The Acting Company as well as the way theater is viewed across the country, and how the company is bringing live theater to more people. It's a documentary that's definitely worth seeing.

It's really fascinating in that it has interviews with the actors on tour, and actors including Rainn Wilson, and also conversations with the people who comprise the audience.

Watching this documentary brings across the message of passion and dedication that drive these talented actors, as well as the importance of theater. Definitely recommend.

    A delight!

One of the most delightful, entertaining and thoughtful documentaries that i've seen in ages. On the Road aired on PBS as part of their look on Shakespeare and I will be trying to find my own copy as it's one to own and watch again. The interviews with Rainn Wilson, Kevin Klein (and more!) were fantastic; plus the journey of The Acting Company, the theater group as they make their way via bus across the US, playing 71 roles(!) and getting to know the actors themselves were just some of the highlights. It's amazing what it takes in this modern era to bring the classic word of the bard across state lines! This doc is really about passion, persistence and the love of art. The camera work, editing and directing brought this story to life and made it a work of art in itself. Looking forward to watching again and will be eagerly anticipating more from the talented Ms. Wolkowitz! Bravo!
