Before watching this movie, it's unlikely you are familiar with El Salvador the little country in Central America with so much hardship. After this film, you'll understand how much you're connected to the story in ways unimaginable. From a corporate murder scandal to US military backed death squads, the suspense in this story is that it's all real!

Kudos to director Jamie Moffett and the production team for such an engaging, informative film. With immigration reform being such a hot topic in the US, there's good reason to believe this film could be an Oscar contender.

Now that nearly 1% of the US population is Salvadoran, it's important for all North Americans to be aware of this tragic yet hopeful story in order to be aware of people who are now our neighbors. With endorsements from Nobel Peace Prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu and support from some of the most important organizations in the justice movement, Return to El Salvador is a must-watch film for anyone interested in the world around them.
