Where do I begin: o yes, the designs
- scoop has the same locomotion but feels extremely bendy somehow, unpleasant to look at
- muck is even clunkier than his stop motion version
- rolly is just more awkward to look at
- lofty lacks the expressions he's famous for
- dizzy lacks the energy but moves even more
- the humans look like they belong on attack on titan, with pure white, almost triangular looking teeth, microscopic eyes, and tacky looking skin (with the exception of Leo, due to the DARKNESS OF HIS SKIN preventing it from being an eyesore. It's very concerning when this is the case)
- the machines are absolute BAFOONS
- lofty goes from nervous to cringey
- Bob seems addicted to schedules
- the rest of the cast are self absorbed brats, refusing to pay the crew, even though they often RISK THEIR LIVES for the sake of production
Mattel I hope you're doing terrible like stop ruining everyone's favourite tv shows like thomas or fireman Sam or that this year you are going to bring back Barney or Bob the builder or should I say bill the braker what's next roary the racing car like every episode it's the same thing every episode that one episode we're it talks about how Bob becomes a builder it is an old episode not to mention the looks of the building trucks and others construction vehicles are ugly as so Mattel the lesson that you learn is IF IT ANT BROKE DON'T FIX IT!!!! And if is broke DON'T FIX IT BRO DON'T FIX IT STOP.
The OG show was alright, but this reboot is just nothing but a waste of 11 minutes and money. I begrudgingly binged all of Season 1 and it was awful it didn't even feel like the original at all, the reboot has dumb comedy, boring story's and set-ups, and lackluster music including the theme song. Mattel turned Bob the Builder into a snore-fest.
Where do I even begin, this reboot is horrible. One of my biggest complaints is the changes to the character's personalities, they got rid of lofty's shy personality and replaced it with a normal personality, that shy personality was what made lofty lofty! Scoops personality was changed into a little kid, nothing like the original series, all the characters are now immature brats as well. I hate the new voice actors, they sound nothing like the characters in the original show. Let's not forget that Dizzy and Roley aren't main characters anymore and are now supporting characters that pop up once in a while, dizzy poured the cement and Roley rolled it, how do the buildings have floors! Dizzy and Roley are also excluded from the theme song, they are very important machines, they just had this stupid truck named two tonne take their place. I hate Leo, not because he's black, but because he's just generally a bad character. Then all of a sudden the animation turned cheap in season 3, the animation in season 3 looks like they ran out of money. Mattel ruined Bob the Builder, shame on them.
Listen up, fellow construction enthusiasts! Buckle your tool belts and brace yourselves because I've got some choice words about that abomination called the "Bob the Builder" reboot from 2015. Grab a hard hat, because we're about to bulldoze through this mess!
Animation Catastrophe: Remember the cozy stop-motion animation from the original series? Well, the reboot chucked that out the window like yesterday's soggy sandwich. Instead, we got soulless CGI that felt like it was assembled by a malfunctioning robot. Where's the warmth? The tactile charm? It vanished faster than a misplaced hammer. Not to mention that this is from 2015 and even the animation of Jimmy Neutron looks better than this. When did Jimmy Neutron come out? 2001.
Character Makeovers Gone Wrong: Bob, Wendy, and the gang got facelifts that would make Picasso cringe. Seriously, they were redesigned beyond recognition. The original characters had personality-quirks, flaws, and all. But in the reboot, they're as bland as a plain bagel. Congrats, creators-you flanderized them into cardboard cutouts!
Paw Patrol Envy: Oh, they tried to ride the "Paw Patrol" wave. But guess what? Bob ain't no rescue pup. He's a builder, dammit! The reboot's desperate attempt to mimic the Paw Patrol animation style was like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Newsflash: It didn't work. At all.
Charm? What Charm? The original series had heart. It taught us about teamwork, grit, and the joy of fixing stuff. But the reboot? It's like they tossed the charm manual into a bonfire. Maybe they thought charm was overrated. Well, guess what? Charm is the secret sauce, and they forgot to sprinkle it on their CGI disaster.
In conclusion, the "Bob the Builder" reboot was a wrecking ball to our childhood memories. It's time to grab our pitchforks (or maybe just our tiny plastic shovels) and demand justice. Bring back the stop-motion magic, restore the characters' souls, and for the love of all things construction-related, find that lost charm!
