I've been playing hitman since the ps2 days. Blood Money was the game that made me fall in love with the Hitman.
Hitman 2 was epic
Hitman 1 was good too
Hitman 3 well maybe I'm just getting old for this virtual hobby. I just haven't felt the charm that I once did. I partially blame it on the challenges of hitman 1 and 2 where I spent 2 months completing. Some just felt pointless. Bottomline is there were too many EMPTY challenges.
During that time I was excited to get H3. Upon release I still felt fatigue and I didn't purchase the game until 2 months later.
It's probably just me but the game feels clunky at times. Voice overs are recycled. Character designs are recycled from previous games. Shooting effects feel off. Some parts in the graphics look less impressive compared to the previous titles.
Once again it has a stack of empty challenges. After playing I feel like hash because I attempted at the empty challenges. Only reason why I spent time doing challenges is because the game is taking a whole day to download missions.
Transferring H2 file to H3 was somewhat easy.
Overall it's still a fun game. It's not a broken game. The gameplay is fine. The engagement is good. It's not hard because I'm a hitman veteran. It's basically the same as the previous 2 with minor adjustments.
I'd recommend and open world Hitman game for future games.
I love Hitman nevertheless after this round I'm done with video games. I feel like hash after playing.
Verdict: I'm retiring from being a mischievous assassin.
