Very similar to "The Shootist". Two tough men unliked by most upset with the way their world has changed. Both become mentors to young men who tried to steal from them, Wayne's horse and Eastwood's Gran Torino. Both become fond of the women leads. Both men are dying of cancer and chose to die in a gun battle.
