Who gave the green light to this show?

HBO used to be the source for quality series. But no more. Really awful, this show is the worst ever. Was Ed Wood not available to direct?

This "Room 104" episode number 2 from season 4 called "Star Time" is one that's somewhat lame not really interesting and kind of hard to follow. It involves a young lady named Sam who's inside room 104 and she starts to have flashbacks and see images. Really it's wild and crazy with an odd character. Yet all of this involves her past pain and torment that involved addiction to drugs. It' like she's fighting her past with own like strange images. Really not one of the series better episodes I guess you as a viewer can make it thru if you watch the series regularly.

I went in to this one blind without knowing anything about it and I LOVED it. I normally don't enjoy the more arthouse-y ones but seeing as I can relate to the subject matter, everything made complete sense. And I don't think it's necessarily one where you'd need to be able to relate to it in order to enjoy it, like some of the other episodes, as long as you can keep up with what's actually happening.

This won't be one for everyone. But it's really really good if can get past the somewhat comedic metaphors that are used. Oh - and the very end is a little... TOO metaphorical? But overall this is definitely worth 25 minutes of your time.

I wasn't planning to watch this episode, but the premise was so simple and gripping, I got hooked immediately. How does an addiction develop? What are its origins and history? Are there critical moments that drive a person down the path? What are the dilemmas... the ways out... the sealed exits? This episode got a lot accomplished in a short timeframe, classically, "doing more with less," which is, I think, what Room 104 is all about. Jillian Bell gets huge credit for her ability to occupy this character and tell us the story from the inside out. One of the best short features I've ever seen. Written by Mark Duplass. And I think it's fair to mention the hamster. I will never forget this one.

This is by far the worst episode of this show. I think I am done.
