this movie has plot so boring i kept waiting for something big to happen till the end but it never did. the acting was great I'm also an Israeli and i noticed how much effort the Israeli actors put in their accents (Bar Rafieli-Eden, Liron Levo-Gabrielle etc.) so hats off to them! the reason i started watching this wasn't a recommendation from anybody there are 2 reasons 1. Bar Rafaeli was in it 2. in the movie her name was Eden and so is mine so i thought it was kinda cool. 2 stupid reasons to watch a stupid movie and i was very disappointed!
i gave it 2 stars instead of 1 only because this movie made me want to know what comes next.

Bar Refaeli is one of the beautiful models ever.but, she is not an actress.
her acting in this movie are not reliable, such as "Pick-Up" series that been broadcast in Israel. also her English isn't understandable.
Storyline of the film is not going anywhere. In addition, the middle acting of the participant "actors" (especially of bar) did not contribute much.
From my point of view it looks to me like a really bad excuse to make a movie and the result was not sufficient enough to be worth the time you've wasted.
Absolutely not what I expected.

I usually do NOT leave movies in the middle.. but this time I just couldn't help it.
It is EXTREMELY boring nothing happens there... and the plot is SOOOO boring.
It is about a psychiatrist falling in love / getting obsessed with his patient. but there wasn't any activity / development in the plot that made me wait anxiously.
The players' acting skills are medium at most. As an Israeli I could easily notice the effort they put into their accent
so to summarize: next time I'll go and see it, I'll have to get 2 seats: One for me, the other for the guy holding a gun to my head.

A definite must see psychological thriller. It kept me constantly on the edge of my seat eagerly anticipating what would happen next. I don't understand the low ratings as this was easily the best movie I have seen all year. I could watch this movie over and over again. It is definitely one that will go into my classics vault. I thought the acting was superb and this movie was very well written and directed. Bar Refaeli is definitely on her way to the top if she continues to put out performances like she did in this masterpiece. I am eagerly awaiting more projects from her. Tom Bower was excellent as well. As I said, I was constantly awaiting what would happen next. Haim Bouzaglo masterfully directed and I will be looking for more of his work as a result of Session.

I was hoping for a psychological thriller, though I guess that wasn't explicitly promised. It did seem like the movie was angling toward that, a few times, but it never really crossed over to tense or edgy. I think that might be why the previous reviewer disliked this movie so much: it was much more of a drama than anything else. I certainly didn't find it as boring, long, or tedious as he did (I love the line about the gun to his head), but it did seem a bit, well, uneventful for what was billed as a thriller. It wasn't even one of those "slow burn" dramas, either, which can be really great; rather, the story inexorably moved forward, just as the plot summary promised, with the psychiatrist becoming more and more obsessed with his patient. Maybe I should be happier that I got what I was promised. It just seemed kind of unfulfilling, if you get what I mean. I was expecting danger, intrigue, menace, criminal intent; and, yet, what I got was an unprofessional psychiatrist. That's fine in a drama (and, to be fair, this is called a "drama-thriller"), but when people call something a thriller, you're expecting a hell of a lot more suspense than this movie delivers.
I don't fault the actors at all. On the contrary, I thought they all did a great job. The directing was what really got to me. There was no subtlety at all. There were shots that screamed, "HEY, HERE IS A CLUE. ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION? HERE, I WILL LET THE CAMERA LINGER FOR A LITTLE WHILE LONGER, IN CASE YOU WERE NOT." Ugh. Yes, Mr. Director Man, I was paying attention. In the future, I would suggest letting the story tell itself, rather than beating us over the head with it. And you might want to skip using cameramen with epilepsy next time, because I'm pretty sure he had a seizure or two, which is really annoying, because it always happened right when the scenes started getting a bit interesting. Oh well.
Would I recommend this movie? Well, probably not to thriller fans, but if you're willing to forgo much of the promised tension and suspense, it's actually not that bad of a movie. I've seen much worse.
