Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is world-renowned for his restaurants, as well as helping other restauranteurs. From Kitchen Nightmares to MasterChef, fans have seen him help other aspiring chefs hone their talents and turn their struggling restaurants around.
But even though Chef Ramsay loves fine dining, there are some menu items he wants everyone to avoid. Read on to get the scoop.
Gordon Ramsay Warns Fans Against Ordering One Specific Menu Item
Back in 2017, Gordon Ramsay spoke with Town & Country to discuss how a customer can get the best dining experience possible. Right from the start, Ramsay insisted that the customer is always right. If someone has an unpleasant dining experience, it’s important to make that clear so the restaurant can improve.
However, it’s equally important to complement great dining experiences. Every restaurant wants to know what they’re doing right.

Comparing International Reality TV Shows to American Versions - Main Image
One of the questions that reality TV fans might be wondering is the comparisons and differences between the American version and the international versions of reality shows.
There has been a debate on which version might be superior. While the formats are pretty much the same, there are differences in how they are produced and the style of storytelling of the dramatic stakes.
How is the International Reality TV Shows Different from the American Versions?
For the most part, the mechanics in either the American version or international versions of the reality shows are similar and there are no drastic changes beyond the main conceit.
However, there are still some major differences between them including the runtime. American versions tend to have their episodes air for an hour weekly while the international versions have a lengthy runtime for each episode.

Whenever someone hears the name Gordon Ramsay, words like grumpy, cold, and stickler come to mind. That was the persona that many attributed to the British chef (courtesy Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares). But a blast from the past might change that.
Back in 2010, Gordon Ramsay decided to go on an episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. And a clip from the talk show has brought to light his other side – gregarious and very touchy. He is catching a lot of flak for that.

Sofia Vergara needs no introduction. The actress, who holds the record for the highest paid woman on US television, has become a household name.

Hulu will continue to be the U.S. streaming home for Fox’s “The Simpsons,” “Family Guy,” “The Masked Singer” and other shows for at least the next four years.
Fox Corp.’s Fox Entertainment and Disney’s Hulu announced a multiyear renewal of their content partnership, encompassing in-season streaming rights for Fox’s programming slate. The agreement also includes the extension of the marketing alliance the two companies forged in January 2023, under which Fox and Hulu branding jointly share presence across all Fox-owned and external consumer touchpoints “to align with live and on-demand viewing messaging of Fox content.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The deal renewal runs for a four-year term, sources said.
Fox Corp. does not operate its own subscription streaming service and has leaned on its Hulu partnership to monetize content in the subscription VOD space. Separately, Fox operates Tubi, a free, ad-supported streamer.

Fox has changed up its post-Super Bowl plans.
The network will the season three premiere of its game show The Floor after Super Bowl Lix on Feb. 9, giving the Rob Lowe-hosted series the biggest possible U.S. audience to kick off its next installment. The Floor replaces first-year drama Rescue: Hi-Surf, which Fox announced would have the post-Super Bowl showcase when the network unveiled its 2024-25 slate in May.
Rescue: Hi-Surf will likely still get heavy promotion during the Super Bowl (as it did during the World Series), and what the network is billing as “a special episode” of the series is set to run the day after the NFL title game, Feb. 10.
Fox has also set the rest of its midseason debuts. The third season of Animal Control will premiere Jan. 2, pairing with the Denis Leary-led comedy Going Dutch on Thursday nights. Medical drama Doc is set to premiere Jan.

Conspicuously missing from Fox’s early 2025 offerings, meanwhile, are return dates for The Cleaning Lady, Family Guy and Alert: Missing Persons Unit — though TVLine has been assured that all three are on track for springtime season premieres.

“Hell’s Kitchen” celebrates its milestone 350th episode on Fox Wednesday, October 24. In its 23rd season, the cooking competition led by Chef Gordon Ramsay has become a staple of reality TV and launched the foul-mouthed culinary powerhouse into superstar status.
Ramsay was first introduced to American audiences when “Hell’s Kitchen” premiered in May 2005. Viewers were quickly drawn to his angry tirades in the kitchen that led to some of the most popular memes and phrases on social media. Idiot sandwich, anyone? Each season sees cooks competing to become a head chef at one of Gordon’s flagship restaurants. Some of the winners have even gone on to high-ranking positions within Gordon’s other business ventures.
Season 23 is a “Head Chefs Only” theme, and for the first time ever, all 18 contestants are head chefs at their respective restaurants at home. There are currently 13 chefs still in the running to become this year’s champ.

If you love stories about wealthy cartoonists pouring millions of dollars into Mexican novelty restaurants riddled with building code violations, boy do we have the movie for you. The new documentary ¡Casa Bonita Mi Amor! chronicles South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s efforts to renovate Denver’s giantest, pinkest eatery, in defiance of all common sense and financial logic.

The movie is undoubtedly funny, engaging and even heartwarming, but it also feels like a fairly calculated promotional tool for the restaurant which, perhaps not coincidentally, opened to the public in the very same week that the documentary was released.

When “South Park” creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker thought they might buy the beloved Denver restaurant Casa Bonita, one of the first calls they made was to director Arthur Bradford. The two Comedy Central powerhouses have worked with the filmmaker for nearly a decade and a half, going back to when he directed their 2011 making-of documentary, “Six Days to Air.”
“Whenever they had a new project or just something that seemed interesting to film, I was always after them to let me do it,” Bradford told TheWrap. The director is currently on the set of Stone and Parker’s upcoming live-action comedy with Kendrick Lamar, working on another making-of film.
Initially, “¡Casa Bonita Mi Amor!” was envisioned to be an “online marketing video” that could be shown as people waited for their food. But as Bradford and his long-standing photography director P.H. O’Brien worked on the project, it became...

Exclusive: A new indie collective is out of the gate with four labels on board and discussions underway with others. Thirtyfour Media is the brainchild of former Banijay exec Joris Gijsbertse who told Deadline he has been working on the project for over a year.
The idea is Thirtyfour will act as a hub for indie prodcos and provide centralized support across development, production and distribution. Another key offering to the partner labels will be in the realm of format and IP acquisitions, with Gijsbertse providing intel and counsel.
Ideas can travel between the labels in the group, which is why the plan is to limit the Thirtyfour family to one company per territory. The initial focus will be on unscripted content and formats.
The quartet of companies on board at launch include Constantin Entertainment in Germany, which makes shows locally including Lol, and NewBe in Holland, whose local credits include Singletown.

Casa Bonita just might be the most famous restaurant on the planet right now, thanks to the South Park episode that made it look like a pink paradise on Earth, as well as the upcoming, critically acclaimed documentary, which chronicles Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s Kitchen Nightmares-esque efforts to restore the tragically shuttered Colorado institution.
The famed Mexican eatery re-opened its doors back in 2023, but it’s technically been in a “beta-testing” phase this whole time, meaning that those wanting to wolf down tacos while watching cliff divers had to try and score an invite via a lottery system, in which names were randomly selected from a lengthy waitlist. Kind of like scoring a golden ticket to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, but without all of the child endangerment.
But it was recently announced that reservations would finally be made available to the public beginning today, Monday, September 16th.

Described as the “Disneyland of Mexican restaurants,” Casa Bonita opened in 1974 in a Colorado strip mall. The infamous restaurant was featured in a classic 2003 episode of “South Park,” which IndieWire called the best episode of “South Park” ever, and in the 2017 video game “South Park: The Fractured but Whole.”
Series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone later stepped up to save Casa Bonita after learning that the restaurant was on the verge of bankruptcy. With $40 million, the eatery was restored. Their journey to reopen Casa Bonita in May 2023 was captured in documentary “¡Casa Bonita Mi Amor!,” which premiered at Tribeca 2024, where it won the Audience Award. The documentary will also screen at Telluride.

A restaurant that was the subject of Kitchen Nightmares sued Gordon Ramsay. The actual episode was released more than a decade ago. However, thanks to a video promo released on Facebook, the restaurant sued Ramsay for making them look bad.

A ‘market with a view’ is how Nem Dubrovnik pitches itself. In a literal sense, the view is of the Adriatic Sea, but in a business sense, the ambition is to create a relaxed setting for execs to meet and do deals, a marked switch-up from the hubbub of many TV markets.
Launching in 2013, Nem Dubrovnik has carved out its calendar moment in June. Over a decade, it has established itself as a key buying and selling confab for the Cee region and beyond, with all of the notable buyers in attendance. The market organizers will grow the space for distributors by 40% this year.
Amazon MGM, Disney, Idtv and Lionsgate will have screenings or showcases. Beta Film, Newen Studios, Rai, and Warner Bros. Discovery are among the big European and international players that will be selling programming at Nem.
The Cee region remains a huge buyer of telenovelas and Turkish drama.

American media mogul Jeff Zucker has acquired a London-based content production company operated in part by his former employer.
On Saturday, Zucker’s RedBird Capital Partners in partnership with Abu Dhabi’s International Media Investments (Imi) announced the acquisition of All3 Media from Liberty Global and Warner Bros Discovery (Wbd) for £1.15 billion (around U.S. $1.45 billion). Zucker previously served as the president of CNN, the international cable network owned by Wbd.

Unless your head is perpetually stuck between two pieces of bread, then you know how successful Gordon Ramsay is at creating cooking entertainment.
Whether it's the fierce team competition of Hell's Kitchen, the frightening details from restaurants across America on Kitchen Nightmares, or the three-level cooking adventure that is Next Level Chef, he's got a nose for transforming culinary delights into must-see TV.
But even if you are one of those folks who never escapes their own doughy existence outside the entertainment realm, you probably know about the Idiot Sandwich meme.
Although the meme has taken off like wildfire over the years, most people are unaware of its genesis. As it turns out, it was not Gordon Ramsay and a real contestant on one of his shows.
Who knew? Well, we did.

Exclusive: Fox, along with the rest of the broadcasters, is breathing a sigh of relief that new scripted programming will return for the second half of the 2023-2024 TV season. But, while difficult, the fall season wasn’t all bad.
To fill the airtime, Fox leaned on adult animation and unscripted programming — both of which put up positive numbers for the network. New series like Krapopolis put up promising numbers, while the return of Kitchen Nightmares and a second season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test helped keep ratings steady this season.
While the upended fall schedule due to the dual strikes was “frustrating,” CEO of Fox Entertainment Rob Wade told Deadline that network’s “mindset quickly moved from frustration to seeing opportunity.”
Wade said that its priorities include being a “talent-first company,” as evidenced by striking a number of...

It’s time to spill some royal tea: The Sea Queen returns to The Masked Singer stage on Wednesday, and viewers are certain they’ve gotten to the bottom of her secret identity.
One of Season 10’s more mysterious characters, the Sea Queen has only appeared in a single episode thus far, when she was introduced as the Group B wild card on Oct. 25. That’s right, it’s been more than a month since we’ve been graced by her presence. Fortunately, that’ll change when she returns tonight (Fox, 8/7c) alongside Tiki and Husky. Hey, "Kitchen Nightmares" fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed episodes 9 and 10 tonight, especially since they are indeed the last episodes of Kitchen Nightmare's current season 7. That means these episodes might be the last ones you'll ever see for possibly forever since we don't yet have an official confirmation from Fox that they're going to renew Kitchen Nightmares for a brand new season 8. So, let's go ahead and do that. According to the Live Nielsen ratings, Kitchen Nightmares season 7 averaged 1.559 million Live viewers per episode,...
