Have you ever watched a movie that made you laugh, cry, and be inspired? Gods Ears will do this to you. That is, if you have a heart and are not afraid of your emotions. This is such an amazing story, it goes way beyond some chick flick. The acting is amazing, especially the autistic guy who does such a good job he puts the characters in Rain Man and that one movie where the guy tattoos his body to remember stuff to shame.
The only flaw, he is not really a boxer per se. That is really the only flaw i can find. The character depth is amazing, their are so many great one liners all throughout, it truly brought me to tears numerous times (i am admittedly an emotional creature) , and its message about living your life to the fullest has such power it can truly open your eyes to show short this life is.
It may seem that this has been done before to different levels, and while that may be true, it is done so well it does not matter. No this is not some Forest Gump rip off. It is better. Yes, i said better. And even at close to two hours it does not seem super long.
Please watch this, for you, i truly believe it will bring out something within anyone who watches this amazing film.
