We all grew up watching the classic animated Christmas movies we all know and love. Though these are timeless, it's been disappointing to see that, over the years, less and less legitimate, worthy animated Christmas movies are coming out. Watching "Christmas is Here Again" completely restored my faith in this nostalgic genre. The voice acting by both seasoned and rookie actors and actresses is superior. Madison Davenport is surely going to be the next huge young female actress. Robert Zappia (writer/director) does an unbelievable job creating a compelling, wholesome, fun, hilarious animated Christmas movie that'll be in my library for a very long time. The music is great, the characters are lovable, the story is inspirational and original.
Go buy this movie and make it a holiday tradition in your family. I know my family will be watching this for years to come!

To start off with, i wasn't thinking too much about this movie going in. I had never heard of this film and the only reason i knew of its existence was because of my local Redbox. However, the Christmas season came upon me and i decided to give it a shot. and to be honest, i was completely shocked. not only did i like this movie, but i loved it so much i went out and bought it the next day. This movie is really adorable. Now normally i can find little girl characters in Christmas movies to be annoying brats. ( A good example of this is that irritating little girl from The Santa Clause 3) However, not only was i not repulsed by Sophianna in this film, i thought she was completely adorable and wanted to give her a big "it'll all be OK" hug. Pretty much to the point that, if she were real, "I" would have adopted her myself. haha. This movie's vocal cast was great as well. i loved Norm as the fox, it just fit perfectly. the lesson was cute and the story was very original. i actually thought the twist with Santa's magic sack was really cool and original. The only reason why this movie doesn't get higher than an 8 is for one simple reason. The songs....weren't that great to be honest. While the plot, characters, and voices were all great, a lot of the songs left much to be desired. Other than that though, this was a great Christmas movie which i have already added to my collection and i really wish it DID had a theatrical release. Oh well, i guess i'll have to be satisfied with it on DVD. However, Christmas is here again really brings out the joy of Christmas, with 8 magical bags, out of 10
I was shopping for a stocking stuffer around Christmas and ran into this DVD at a local shopping market. I was immediately amazed at the style and color of this Film. With the name Disney you have some tough shoes to fill, but this is Animation is great!!!! I would say more so on the Cartoon network style of 2D animation but it is Beautiful!!! I was amazed to see A cartoon that puts Jesus in a "Christmas" special these days! I bet that's going against the grain of some critics!I had no idea there was a Roy P.Disney. I really hope he keeps on making Animated films this was pure eye candy !!!! Its Beautiful!!! Highlyunder rated !!! Bravo!!!!!!!!! check it out!
Now people who follow my comments on IMDb will know that I can be quite harsh and very honest, but without people like me, thousands of hours of time on this planet would be wasted staring vacantly at the television screen.
I sat through this film in tears. Not because I was moved by the story or had my heart strings pulled by the music.. because 1 million dollars were scribbled on, burnt and ripped to shreds to make this animated car crash.
What was the million dollars spent on? WHO KNOWS! It's completely mysterious at first where the budget went.. The music was awful - it sounded like it was the demo song from a budget synthesizer. Even my cat was terrified by the quality of the music.
The worst part is the narration, by the grey haired guy who plagues our airways at night.. jay Leno. It was just the icing on the cake. The film was dreadful and I hope it will never find it's way back onto my TV in the next 100 years.
The only good thing was when it finished.

The art style was fun. I thought the voice of Sophiana was very good. That about wraps up my positive comments.
The story was predictable and lame. The music was inexcusably awful. I have to leave the room anytime my 2 year old wants to watch this. Half the time it sounds like the accompaniment (which is sparse and boring) belongs to some other song; it just doesn't feel like it matches the melody, which is also boring. Here, let me sing a bit for you...
Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah....
There.
Yes, my 2 year old likes this, but she likes a lot of stuff, and I prefer that she watches something else. I don't want her to grow up musically crippled. I also don't want her to grow up thinking that Santa has a sack made from baby Jesus' clothes. Oh,... and I always laugh when they talk about Santa's sack. They talk about that a lot.
