How I Spent my Strummer Vacation is a fantastic Simpsons episode with a very well written storyline and plenty of very funny scenes. It's a really interesting and fun episode as we get to see Homer, as well as other hilarious residents of Springfield, spending a week in a rock and roll fantasy camp, it was very funny seeing them try out the many aspects required to become a musician and even making up their own music. I think it could have focused on Homer's problems with the family more, it plays a strong role in the beginning and towards the end, but it should have been a main part of the entire episode, it was a very dramatic thing to see from the Simpsons but I found it necessary and it was written very well. The guest stars in this episode is outstanding and this is the only animated series that could manage to get stars like this in one thirty minute show, with stars such as Mick Jagger, Elvis Costello and Lenny Kravitz, it is very impressive. How I Spent My Strummer Vacation is a very enjoyable Simpsons episode.
The family enroll Homer in to a rock and roll fantasy camp to give him a break from all the hard work he's been doing.
