    Worth the time!

I saw this film at the Annapolis Film Festival in 2006. It was very well acted, directed, and shot. It's amazing to me that films like this don't seem to find their way to audiences, while there are 800 sequels coming out each year...and countless retreads of 70's and 80's TV shows. It's amazing what Frederic Lumiere has done on an independent budget. I'd like to see what he could do with Fox or Warner or Dreamworks backing him! And the cast was excellent. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of Scout Taylor-Compton in the coming years. I also enjoyed the performance of Ken Arnold, who played her father. Very subtle and understated. Great work. Great film. Thank you.

    Life Changing!

I had the privilege of seeing a private screening of the film tonight.

I went to see it with a date and let me tell you... I hate to cry at the movies and in fact, I don't very much but this one really got to me.

I left the theater and had to tell my date that I didn't feel well and went into my car and started balling. This has never happened to me before, I don't consider myself a softy at all much the contrary.

This film is filled with poetry and powerful performances. This is a story I will never forget and filmmakers I am SURE I will see again. There is a lot of wisdom and insightful messages in this story.

The cinematography was breathtaking especially since I learned it was done on a minuscule budget (The director wouldn't say exactly how much). But I think this film could change the industry. It proves that you can deliver incredible production quality on an Indie budget. Although the images were beautiful, it really delivers on story and performances.

Mark Hefti went through a striking transformation during the film. He becomes a different person physically and in his demeanor. I knew he wrote the script before I watch it so it added a lot of meaning behind the messages. Well done!

Scout Taylor-Compton is unbelievable. What a hottie. She has so much charm on screen. You can't help but fall in love with the girl.

I promised in a signed statement not to reveal any plot points so unfortunately I can't talk about the story but all I can say is that this film is going to do very well. The director mentioned that it will be in some big festivals and I wouldn't be surprised if it became a festival favorite.

    Thanks for this film guys.

    wise movie

Beautifully filmed and wonderfully written. So much wisdom! So inspiring it moved me to tears. Each of the characters were believably human with all their imperfections and selfishness while having underlying good hearts. This film conveys the reality of good will humans have for each other. The writing was rich, yet natural for the characters. I was informed that the entire movie was filmed using 1 (one) $4,ooo Sony camera, filmed in 16 days! So inspiring to see what can be done with a small budget... convinces me that movie making should be viewed in it's art form. I'm a musician who greatly enjoys seeing something done artistically. Really glad that this film came to the festival in Montreal. I hope to see it again! Amazing, dedicated talent.

Tomorrow is Today is Film Making at it's Finest.

First, I must apologize if my comment comes off as too over the top. But how I feel about this movie is something I can not tone down! Tomorrow is Today is Film making at it's finest. I happened upon this film, through my membership to the Spiritual Cinema Circle, and I was blown away. It pulled me in and rocked me to the core. The beautiful, poetic, inspiring way this devastatingly heart wrenching story is told is amazing. The writing, direction, acting, cinematography--everything, is so powerfully moving there really are no words to describe it. I love a good cry, and that's just what this film evokes: a GOOD cry. For inter-weaved with the heartache & pain is hope, courage, and soul stirring inspiration. This movie has the biggest heart of any I've ever seen. I TRULY hope to one day see it on the big screen, because that is exactly where it belongs. Tomorrow is Today is a first-rate film that everyone should have the opportunity to experience.

    Fantastic and moving

This movie generously portrays the depth of the human spirit and what is possible when one human being moves beyond what is expected of them and fulfills on what is possible for them.

The acting is well done and the cinematography aptly captures the moods and spaces that each of the characters moves through on their way to the gripping finish.

Though I have not seen work from most of these actors before and the director is new to me, I can only see bright futures for all of them.

My only problem with the movie is the attempt to trivialize some aspects of the class struggle looming just beneath the surface in our society.
