Jordan Herrera was supposed to be in the cast. But his old feud with Maui Taylor over the production of Gamitan (2002) forced producers to look for another actor. Maui Taylor earlier vowed never to work with Jordan Herrera after Gamitan (2002), a promise he failed to keep as they starred together in Bugbog sarado (2003).
Final film to released under Neo Films before the said studio was absorbed into Viva Films. The posters had use the third and final Neo Films logo (which is similar to the 2003-2010 Viva Films logo) while the trailers and the actual film used the 1995 Neo Films logo.
The rape scene was physically challenging for Maui Taylor, who is only 5'2. One of the actors who played her rapists was more than six feet tall. Maui said she felt like she was actually being raped when she was doing the scene.
