Exclusive: Lauren Staerck (Trust) and Natasha Henstridge (Species) are underway in England on Cinderella’s Revenge, a film that Andy Edwards (Zombie Spring Breakers) is directing for Mark Amin’s Sobini Films, that will give the classic fairy tale a horror twist.
In the film, Cinderella (Staerck)’s wicked stepsisters and stepmother push her too far, leading her to swap her glass slippers in pursuit of blood-soaked vengeance with the help of her Fairy Godmother (Henstridge).
Also starring Stephanie Lodge, Beatrice Fletcher, Megan Purvis and Darrell Griggs, Cinderella’s Revenge is produced by Sobini Films’ Amin, as well as Mark Lester, Cami Winikoff and Jessica Mathis.
“Cinderella is the most famous fairy tale in the world,” observes Amin. “We were able to develop a great horror script that is also a female empowerment story with global appeal.”

Alright, so according to a new report from Soaps.com,we're about to see Bill plot out a new, big scandal. If this scandal works, it could definitely put him back in the driver's seat at Spencer Publications. This is why Bill is going to needs some very specialized help to pull it off. That's where this new guy Ken will come into play. It's being reported by both Soaps.com and TVinsider.com that Bill is going to hire a tech wiz guy named Ken to hack into the Spencer Publications computer files in an effort to retrieve the incriminating recording that Liam has of Bill confessing to setting the Spectra building on fire. Obviously, if Bill can get his hands on it, Liam would have nothing to continue blackmailing Bill with. That would set the stage for Bill to return and take back his company. The big question...

Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Jared Leto and Justin Theroux are already all aboard, but The Girl On The Train is still accepting more passengers. Allison Janney is the latest to join the ensemble cast for Tate Taylor's adaptation of Paula Hawkins' bestseller. Erin Cressida Wilson wrote the screenplay from the much buzzed-about book, which drew comparisons to Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl for its narrative. We’ll caution that even the basic synopsis might be considered a spoiler, but read on if you wish… The story follows a recently divorced woman called Rachel (Blunt) struggling with her life and sinking into alcoholism to try to cope. She spies a seemingly perfect couple from her London train ride every day and starts to fantasise about their lives. But things take a turn when she sees something shocking…Janney will play a police detective, continuing a working relationship...

Okay multiplex maniacs, before we make a most welcome return visit to the Marvel Movie Universe, it’s time for that annual (sometimes semi-annual) slog into another movie universe, Sparks-land. I’m talking about another flick based on another product off the novel assembly line from Nicholas Sparks. Box office gold occurred with The Notebook eleven (!) years ago and the studios have been returning with pick, shovel, and camera to that mine ever since. Just like cinema stars and franchises, he’s a brand name. It’s just a question of which familiar themes will be re-hashed and which photogenic actors will be put through some now familiar paces. But hey, we may get a surprise, although this one’s title seems more than a little daunting. Are you ready to embark on The Longest Ride?

Last night was the Teen Wolf Season 4 finale and while it was sad for many fans, the episode didn’t disappoint. It started off by showing Kira once again in the bottom of the dungeon. She spies a door which leads to a cave-like hallway, and as she’s walking through it, calling out for Scott, she gets a visit from Scott the berserker. He wrestles with her a bit before Kate shows up. Kira notices Scott’s tattoos on the arm of this berserker and demands answers from Kate. Kate explains that they’re in what’s known as the Temple of Smoking … Continue reading →

Last week’s episode was amazing, and next week’s noir-fest looks like it’s going to be fantastic. I guess it’s only to be expected that the episode in the middle is a bit lackluster, and lacking in vital information, and also lacking in compelling dialogue from Shauna.1. Spencer (last week: 2)Spencer solves all the mysteries. Of course she does. She spies the camera spying her. That’s the kind of sleuth she is. A for effort, Ezra, but you are not long for this world. Now seems like a good time for us all to review the Inviolable Rules of Television Health and Medicine. Even when logic, coherent character development, or the actual laws of science suggest — nay, demand — otherwise, these rules must be followed on every television show lest chaos reign on the airwaves. For instance: If a woman throws up, she is always pregnant; if...

You see, the problem with Arrow is that it set the bar for itself really high at the beginning. So now, when they flounder, it kind of irritates me. It's still as good or better than anything else on TV, but an episode like this last one grates on my nerves because it's so disappointing.
This week, it's a gang of armored-car heists. Normally, I am in such a blissed-out high from ogling Stephen Amell's abs and from the excitement of watching the layers of the plot unfold. Instead, I'm grouchy and all I can think as the heist is happening is, "wow, what idiot designs an armored car and forgets to make the windows bullet-proof?"
I ponder that as we shift focus to the Queen Mansion and Thea dropping gigantic hints that she is hoping for a car for her upcoming eighteenth birthday. Well, I suppose it's more...

So first of all, this:
All horn-tooting aside, the part I like best is “Betty means the world to me,” because it really shows. Really the whole cast — Charlotte Hegele, Jodi Balfour and Meg Tilly — come into their own more and more with every episode, which is a little bittersweet since this season is almost over."
Now, this is my favorite episode to date so let’s jump right into the action.
Blue Shift is just minutes away from finishing Victory Munitions’ millionth bomb — you remember the bombs right, those things that kill people and one of them lives in Archie’s chest now—but let’s not forget who the real enemy is in this war: Red Shift. Those hacks are waiting in the wings for the chance to steal all the glory.
Blue Shift is our ally. We have always been at war with Red Shift.

I have to admit, in the first two episodes of this show, I was a little troubled by my dislike for all the male characters. This week, we open on Whitney and Sara, still in bed, still naked, and still going at it. They compare themselves to those other star-cross'd lovers, Romeo and Juliet, although I suspect Sara thinks a Capulet is something you take for a hangover.
Whitney says, "It's like I'm sneaking out on one family to go yon window breaks to the other."
I don't remember Juliet wearing heels and a thong, do you?
After they find the motivation to get vertical and go outside, Whitney and Sara check out that other hotbed of lesbian activity: a dog park. Across an expanse of poop and soggy tennis balls, is Whitney's ex and current houseguest, Rachel, who's also out for her morning constitution. She spies the two of them and puts it together; they've been hooking up. This park suddenly has two bitches, too many.
Rachel leaves without confronting Whitney. Clearly, no one...

Vampire Diaries to bring on mysterious hipster & more for season 2. Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly recently revealed a new, interesting "Vampire Diaries" spoiler wrapped in some casting news and spoiler chat combo. He says that Vampire Diaries has casts former "She Spies" actress and "American Idol" season 7 almost finalist Natashia Williams to come on and play the role of a new character named Lucy who is a mysterious hipster that possesses a fun swagger. The details about her character are a little vague, but it still sounded interesting enough to peek my attention. In related news, Katerina Graham who plays Bonnie, recently revealed upcoming spoiler info about the new season to the NY Post. She revealed that Bonnie will still continue to get dragged into helping the Salvatores up to episode 6 that she's aware of.

I once read somewhere online that all technology, no matter how insignificant, goes through four stages; how it can be made, how the public can use it, how the military can use, and how the pornograpy industry can use it. In tonight’s episode of The Big Bang Theory, sad sack and hopeless bachelor Howard Wolowitz has a programmable robot arm. With this information, you can probably guess where this week’s episode heads.
Before we delve into the creepy details of cybernetic gratification, let’s discuss Sheldon. Last season, Sheldon met a young woman named Amy through an internet dating site. Amy (played by Mayim Bialik of Blossom fame) is, for all intents and purposes, a female Sheldon. Same vocal patterns, same gravitas towards science and same condescension for social standards. As such, both Amy and Sheldon enjoy each other’s company, but reach the consensual agreement that a romantic relationship is folly.

Danny Trejo ("Machete") and Erin Cummings ("Bitch Slap") are in negotiations to star in the $2.5 million indie biker thriller “Tarantula" for Two of a Kind Productions says Heat Vision.
Cummings would play a woman who breaks away from a tight-knit biker gang to start a new life but finds that escape is not so easy.
Trejo would play the self-styled leader of the gang looking for the woman as well as revenge for his brother's death.
John Kersey penned the script and is producing alongside his wife Jennifer and John Bailey. Oley Sassone (TV's “Xena: Warrior Princess," "She Spies") directs and shooting kicks off late November in Detroit.

I remember I was at some premier after party for some horror movie and I was chatting with Erin Cummings about her upcoming movie Bitch Slap. I know she was just networking to try and get me to write about the film (I never did. Movie is awful and I only made it 15 minutes in before turning it off.) but we talked about all kinds of stuff and have chatted a few times on Facebook, etc. She's a really cool chick who worked hard to get where she is so I'm happy to see she's gotten some success out of this crazy town.Danny Trejo I met during my time in Quentin. I was his training partner in the boxing program and we quickly became homies, overcoming both of our drug addiction issues with the prison's twelve-step program. We still had to occasionally shank fools but we had each other's backs.

What the frak are you doing, True Blood writers? The second to the last episode of the season and you squander it with this horrible, boring hour? This should have been a spine-tingling, hang-on-by-the-seat-of-your-pants, sex and blood filled thrill ride, not a snore-fest. Arlene, Jason, sobbing Tara and mad Sam? Nobody gives a frakking shit. I already gave you a pass on the last episode, chalking it up to a pair of exceptionally bad writers - but this time there is no excuse. Fresh Blood was a near-complete letdown, a major disappointment and a serious misstep that leaves me questioning the show's future. Alan Ball, I know you're busy with your new series, but clearly you need to save some focus and give your older child a bit more attention. If you keep spitting out limp episodes with nothing but a little jerk off at the very end, your audience is going to peter out.

Bitch Slap
Stars: Julia Voth, Erin Cummings, America Olivo | Written and Directed by Rick Jacobson
Three badass chicks – stripper Trixie (Voth), corporate powerbroker Hel (Cummings)and psychotic drug-runner Camero (Olivo) – crash at a remote desert hideaway with a plan to steal $200 million in diamonds from a ruthless underworld kingpin. But as allegiances change and bitter truths are revealed, the girls’ plan spirals dangerously out of control, forcing them to face a variety of villains much worse than themselves and leaving the very fate of the world in the balance.
Bitch Slap is a strange film, it combines a story and plot straight out of a 60’s b-movie, with modern green screen technology and CGI, both of which are used incredibly unconvincingly in a style not seen since the risible Mutant Chronicles. In essence a rift on the grindhouse cinema of yore, and exploitation movies in general, the film mixes busty...

Legendary animator Jan Svankmajer shows no signs of slowing down. In production now for a 2010 release is his latest feature Surviving Life [Theory and Practice], which sounds every bit as odd as you'd expect from the master.
Eugene leads a double life - one real life, and another life in his dreams. In real life, he is married to Milada; in his dreams, he has a young lover called Eugenia. Sensing that these dreams have a deeper meaning, he goes to see a psychoanalyst, who interprets his dreams for him. Gradually we learn that Eugene lost his parents in early childhood and was brought up in an orphanage. In the meantime, Eugenia is expecting Eugene's child - to the dismay of a psychoanalyst, who believes Eugenia is in fact his anima. And getting your anima pregnant is worse than incest. Meanwhile Milada suspects Eugene is having an affair. She spies on Eugene's ritual in his studio,...

Set in our near future, Canary refers to Canary Industries, a multinational company that wants to make sure people are living healthy.
Because that company is responsible for making sure that people living with leased organs are complying with the Conscientious Usage contract they signed. And if they aren't, well, Canary Industries reserves the right to reclaim the organ.
It's a creepy premise made creepier because of the documentary tone used by director Alejandro Adams.
We drift as voyeurs from one scene to another. A family arguing in Russian. A pregnant woman going into labour while shopping for nursery furniture. A young couple on a date. Employees at a medical clinic going about their daily business.
A nameless, silent woman — played by Carla Pauli — is the thread that connects the various people we spy on. She spies on them, too, but they never notice. She infiltrates their lives, their world.

Mission: Impossible IV is one step closer to the big screen, with Paramount Pictures and producers Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams signing Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec to write the screenplay for the third sequel to the 1996 film. Applebaum and Nemec join a roster of writers who transitioned from Abrams TV series creations to pen the features he directs and produces through his Bad Robot banner. The duo spent four seasons with Abrams as co-exec producers of Alias, and they will script M:i 4 based on a story Abrams wrote with them. While the only other commitments so far are for Cruise and Abrams to produce the film together, sources said that Cruise’s character, Ethan Hunt, will certainly be involved in an onscreen capacity. Paramount is aiming for a 2011 release. Applebaum and Nemec are the creators of the new ABC series Happy Town and previously created October Road and the U.

"Legend of the Seeker" is hoping to conjure up some ratings magic and revive a dormant genre when it debuts in syndication this weekend.
The weekly scripted epic fantasy, about a woodsman (Craig Horner) who discovers he has magical powers and sets out to stop a sinister tyrant, will become the first major action hour to bow in syndication in recent years with its two-hour premiere. The most recent effort, NBC/MGM's "She Spies," failed to generate much interest, lasting only two seasons (2002-04).
Many had left the genre for dead, as such big-budget first-run dramas as "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" and "Xena: Warrior Princess" were considered to be part of another era. But "Seeker" distributor Disney-abc Domestic Television and producer ABC Studios believe the time is right for the weekly action hour to make a comeback.
