Mr. Max Linder's latest is quite as amusing as many of his efforts which have gone before. This time he appears in the role of a servant who having stolen a note of invitation to a dance from his master's letter box, visits the party himself, clad in his employer's clothes, and taking with him a housemaid of manners equally extravagant and uncouth as his own. One may leave to the imagination the extraordinary antics which the two perform. It is sufficient to say that this is a most humorous film, and one which might be shown to any audience with certainty of success. - The Bioscope, Feb. 3, 1910
