RICHARD CRENNA is the star of this MGM promotional short that concentrates mostly on Helen Rose's fashions that were created for ANN-MARGRET and EDIE ADAMS in the romantic "Made In Paris." Crenna narrates while the film shows an occasional clip from the film, which also gives us a glimpse of LOUIS JOURDAN and CHAD EVERETT.
It's strictly a by-the-numbers sort of dry commentary that seems to assume the viewer is fascinated by a look at women's costumes for the film.
Crenna does what he can to give a sense of humor to the whole thing, but it's a strain. His brief talk with designer Helen Rose is so scripted, it's painful to watch. Typical MGM gloss to push a product.
