In the original Cybersix comic book, it was alluded that Von Reichter and Jose were Nazis. This is why Jose would always march around like an SS soldier.
Based on the Argentinean comic series, the story was also used to create the Argentinean Live-Action TV series "Cybersix" in 1995. It did rather poorly and ended up being canceled.
The series itself ends a vague ray of hope. As Lucas sees the light on in Cybersix/Adrian's apartment; implying she survived Von Richter's lab being destroyed.
The theme of Cybersix's life is that she wants to be recognized as a woman by Lucas, but her double life as his male best friend Adrian is a source of complications.
Cybersix aired on Fox Kids sometime around the year 2000.
