Well I caught this one at midnight. It aired on MGM. I didn't expect anything from it. And that's exactly what I got: nothing.
The sex? Nothing great. In fact, most scenes are intended to be artsy but fail and only look generic. Like any other mediocre soft core effort from the 90's.
This pseudo artistic techniques used in these kind of movies don't work. Plus, there is even a sex scene takes place during a lap dance and totally removes the artsy look of the film.
The women aren't that attractive and the plot is boring. Expect plenty of violins, settings involving water and fire, but zero steam and originality.
This is one to ignore.

A skin tease flick that attempts to tie in sexual indulgence with a blind womens passion for playing the cello. Coupled with an extrinsic pianist who helps to guide our movies female lead, a story of giving in to inner desires unfolds.
The set design is what i think kept me watching this late night tease. With Ivan's house being one that I wanted to take apart and steal every cool decorative wear from.
Fairly predictable in all of its unilateral plot line, it doesn't leave a lot to the imagination and most characters fall flat of actually being worth remembering but the tie in of sexual desires and musical performance kept me interested enough to watch it in full.

Oh man, If you're looking for a sexy film - rent "9 1/2 Weeks" - this is nothing more than porn. Notice that the only place it gets play is on the Playboy channel. Big surprise! The same girls you see naked and ACTIVE (and then some) in this flick have also been seen on the pages of Playboy. Talk about leaving nothing to the imagination! (Close your eyes mom-I promise I won't bring her home.) This "film" really didn't have story to tell. It was just another orgy set to music. The vilolin may have class but this project does not.

The film deals with the fantasies of a blind woman who plays the violin. Playing the violin is a sexual release for her, and she uses this act to excite her self, by fantasizing while playing the violin. Otherwise, it is all about flesh display and the bump-and-grind routine.
Wonderfully shot, convincingly acted, sensuous and touching, filled with gentle music that adds to the overall lyrical and erotic atmosphere and serves as an effective means to express deepest feelings of the main characters. Nothing was out of balance in this film. Highly recommended.
