I'm 66 years old. Farrah was a part of my life . This movie is a great tribute to the woman and Artist she was. This is a nice and beautiful look into a complicated life of someone never able to step into public view unanimously . Her art is well done and I'd love to own any of it. As the documentary that this is it is well worth watching if you Love Farrah.
Well, no, it's not acting. No, it's not brilliant. But then again, we weren't renting this for brilliant plot, great story line, incredible acting... Nope. We rented this movie to see Farrah Fawcett naked. And we do. There she is. Naked. Bare. Completely. There is just about an every angle view of every part of Farrah's body. So, if we admit that this was rent/bought to see Farrah nude, then we get what we paid for.
I've seen a bunch of Playboy videos but 'Farrah Fawcett, All of Me' was the very first. Which is odd to say, but I was young hitting puberty and my local corner store had a copy of this on VHS. Not old enough to have fond memories or fantasies of Farrah let alone watched an episode of 'Charlie's Angels' the younger me thought it was barely hot and nothing has changed in that regard.
"Introduction" a quick open leads to both "From Texas to Hollywood" and "Star of Popular Culture". Her early life as vintage pics get shown, she talks is explored then her success thru the 70's, 80's, cultural impact with more talking heads (15 mins). "In the Pages of Playboy" focuses on her 1990 pictorial being shot which flows right into "Out of Sync" the difficulties she had doing it. Still pics, on location is your source of seeing her naked briefly (13 mins total). "A True Expression" takes her real interest in art as Farrah talks in voiceover, pics are shown. It leads to her working with clay, naked but between the quick cuts and soft focused lens, I wouldn't say it's erotic. Tack on some BTS afterwards to extend an already painfully slow runtime (9 mins).
"Body Painting" continues giving you fleeting looks which means the odd shot topless covered in paint (9 mins). "Performance is Everything", "Strictly Farrah" and "A Change of Image" follows. Listening to Playboy crew talk about how great the past scene was is a pain. Watching her posing for pics, more BTS clips further enforces her difficulty in more ways than one. Interviews talk about her great acting skills as clips from roles are shown and then various award nominations onscreen (15.5 mins). "Thoughts About Acting" sees the conclusion that was set up in the intro. Lot of artsy fluff fitting with the rest of the video that ends on the best unobstructed shot of her full body albeit briefly in the entire thing (7 mins).
'Farrah Fawcett, All of Me' is one of many vids from Playboy with stars who bare it all (like the 'Celebrity Centerfold' titles), but she's the real deal. When you get to the end credits and see how involved Farrah was you get a better sense why things aren't very revealing, but it doesn't make for a good time. Tons of talking, very little nudity. Diehard fans or the curious will give it a go, but the visuals blow big time.

You name it this video has anything you want to know about Farrah Fawcett it sure holds true to it's name All of Me. Starting with the childhood days of Farrah in Texas when she begins her journey to Hollywood for fame and success. This video shows her shampoo and shaving cream commercials with NFL hall of fame quarterback Broadway Joe you know who. Interviews with her closest friends and agents tell of her success of marriage with Lee Majors and her one year stardom on "Charlie's Angels. Most of the nude playboy footage features Farrah painting in multiple art colors. Mostly this video is a tribute to a legend Farrah was not only adored for her beauty or TV success but for her healthy image of fitness and intelligent nice smile and don't forget the poster that made her a sexual icon of the 20th century. So give this video a try if you want to know more about America's most beloved angel and in the meantime experience pleasure by viewing Farrah.
