There are only a few months left until Captain America: Brave New World hits theaters. Despite the controversies surrounding its development, fans have a lot to look forward to.
This movie marks Sam Wilson’s first solo adventure as Captain America in the MCU, and we’ll also see Thaddeus Ross transform into the Red Hulk. The latest trailer and rumors suggest that the film will address a previously overlooked aspect of the MCU—Celestial Tiamut. His corpse will become a key source of adamantium.
Adamantium, the powerful metal known for Wolverine’s claws and skeleton, will play a major role in Brave New World. At the start of the film, countries are competing for control of adamantium resources. President Ross plans to share these resources globally and recruits Sam Wilson to help rebuild the Avengers.
Adamantium is a nearly indestructible steel alloy, denser than vibranium, and more effective for drilling.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has brought back numerous characters from Fox’s X-Men franchise, and these nostalgic cameos have played a key role in the movie’s massive box-office success.
Among the most eagerly awaited appearances was Dafne Keen’s return as Laura, also known as X-23, reprising her iconic role from 2017’s ‘Logan.’
Like the leading duo of Deadpool & Wolverine, Laura also lived to see the end credits of the movie, she presumably returned to her native reality and the most recent rumors are that the actress is being eyed for subsequent projects in the MCU.
If you are an especially avid fan of Keen’s X-23, Hot Toys has a surprise for you. The company has revealed a highly detailed 1/6th scale X-23 action figure inspired by her look in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’

“Deadpool & Wolverine” had plenty of surprise appearances. But one that was decidedly not a surprise — at least in the theater — was that of Dafne Keen, who returned as X-23, a.k.a. Laura. Her role was given away in one of the trailers for the film. And while that might’ve bothered some fans, it didn’t bother her.
“Honestly, I trust Ryan [Reynolds] and Shawn [Levy’s] creative judgment so much that if they thought it was necessary, they were right,” she explained to TheWrap. “To me, anything they say [is] Bible. So I’m happy they did what they
did.”
In fact, director Shawn Levy warned her in advance that it’d be happening. According to Keen, the heads up came in “the set of the most terrifying messages” ever, to the point that she convinced herself he was actually calling to deliver bad news.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has seen the return of many characters from Fox’s X-Men franchise, in fact, it’s those cameos that made the movie a true hit that’s currently breaking various box-office records.
One of the most anticipated cameos in the movie was the one from Dafne Keen as she returned to reprise her role as Laura aka X-23 from ‘Logan,’ released in 2017.
Now we know that Feige teased that the mutant era begins in the MCU with the release of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ and fans like Keen’s portrayal of X-23, with a large number of fans proposing that she takes over the role of MCU’s main Wolverine.
Some insider reports also stated that the actress will return in future projects. During ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ marketing campaign Keen was constantly lying to the press and fans claiming that she was not in the movie – a...

Daredevil: Born Again is one of the most anticipated upcoming releases in the MCU. Set to premiere on Disney+ in March 2025, the show promises to fully integrate Daredevil into the MCU, along with a host of characters from his Netflix series.
With this new installment comes a fresh suit. As you may know, Daredevil has sported several costumes in live action, evolving from his homemade black suit to a professionally crafted red armored suit over the course of three seasons.
In She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, fans were treated to Daredevil’s Yellow and Red Suit, which presented a less gritty appearance that matched the show’s lighter, more comedic tone. The yellow helmet and accents paid tribute to the retro, comic-accurate design of his classic debut costume from the 1960s.
However, it appears that Born Again is returning to a grittier aesthetic, as set leaks have revealed a new and updated armored suit.

Deadline brings word today that Aaron Pierre (Rebel Ridge) and Stephan James (Beacon 23) are the current frontrunners to play John Stewart in DC Studios and HBO's Lanterns.
Kyle Chandler was cast as Hal Jordan earlier this week and, according to the trade, no offers have been made yet. As we reported earlier today, F1 star Damson Idris was in the running but that no longer appears to be the case.
Both actors would bring a lot of this series and the wider Dcu and, as of now, it appears the plan is for John to be this shared world's main Green Lantern. Chandler has reportedly only signed a deal for Lanterns and no features so likely won't appear beyond the series.
Pierre is no stranger to the DC Universe after playing Dev-Em in Krypton and recently became a fan favourite choice to play John after starring in Rebel Ridge.

Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine made a silly joke about Disney making Hugh Jackman play the Wolverine character until he’s 90. Fans did not expect anything out of it and they were almost convinced that 55-year-old Jackman was done with the superhero role. However, an insider report about the X-Men reboot film at the MCU suggests that Reynolds’ prediction might just come true.

Deadpool & Wolverine was released three weeks ago and is widely regarded as a major success, breaking box-office records. The film marks Deadpool’s and Wolverine’s debut in the MCU while also serving as a fitting farewell to characters from the Fox X-Men franchise and other Marvel properties.

Marvel Studios has been staging one heck of a comeback this summer. Its acclaimed Marvel Cinematic Universe has always been at the center of the pop-culture conversation, but after a rough 2023 for the franchise, it has bounced back significantly. We mostly owe that to the success of Deadpool and Wolverine, which has broken box office records on its way to surpassing $1 billion, but it's also down to a strong showing at San Diego Comic-Con, where they made some major announcements about the next Avengers movies.
The biggest, of course, revolves around the return of Robert Downey Jr. to the franchise, as the former Iron Man star will now be playing Doctor Doom; the new main villain of the Multiverse Saga. He will play a role in the franchise going forward, specifically in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

If Marvel fans could indulge in a cinematic treat as tantalizing as chocolate, this year’s superhero blockbuster, Deadpool & Wolverine, would be the ultimate indulgence for them. Hey, did you know "Deadpool & Wolverine" has cameos? Of course you did, because this movie is so stuffed with guest appearances that it is, as /Film's Chris Evangelista put it, a disappointing cameo-fest. Whether you were actually disappointed by the sheer level of cameo-ism on display in the movie will depend on several factors, such as how much of a Marvel fan you are and how seriously you take the film. Viewed as a light-hearted piece of box office entertainment, the constant guest spots can actually make "Deadpool & Wolverine" a grand old time at the movies, especially if you're a fan of the erstwhile 20th Century Fox Marvel films.
Part-way through the movie, it essentially becomes an homage to the now defunct universe established by Fox, which was subsumed by Disney back in 2019. That means we got cameos from an impressive array of Fox Marvel stars, including Jennifer Garner's Elektra,...

Released two weeks ago, Deadpool & Wolverine is currently shattering box office records and delighting millions of fans worldwide. A significant part of the film’s success can be credited to the appearance of numerous legacy characters.
Before the movie’s release, there were rumors that over 20 characters would make a return, including legacy figures from the Fox X-Men franchise and characters from other Marvel properties.
Certain characters were confirmed to appear ahead of the movie’s release, including Garner’s Elektra, Keen’s X-23, and Patrick Stewart’s Professor X.
A week or so before the film’s debut, news of Stewart’s return circulated widely online. While it’s tricky to pinpoint the exact source of the rumor, it was credible enough for most major outlets to cover it.

Between Loki and Deadpool & Wolverine, we've become pretty familiar with The Void. The Tva's dumping ground for pruned timelines is also home to Alioth, a trans-temporal entity used by Kang to destroy his Variants; now, it feeds on those sent it its home.
In Marvel Studios' latest movie, it's established that the immensely powerful Cassandra Nova feeds friend and foe alike to Alioth in exchange for her continued safety. That's led to several pruned Variants forming a Resistance with a team comprised of Blade, Elektra, Gambit, X-23, and the late Johnny Storm.
While Deadpool & Wolverine finally gives each of those characters their "ending," something tells us we haven't seen the last of them. In this feature, we're taking a look at what could be next for the heroes and when and where they may next appear in the MCU.

Logan fans never thought they'd get to see Dafne Keen back as Laura/X-23 following Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, but The Acolyte actress made her long-awaited return as the ferocious young mutant in Deadpool and Wolverine, making a big impression in a small, but significant supporting role.
Laura was reunited with Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) at the end of the movie, leaving the door open for Keen to reprise the role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe down the line. Could she appear in one of the upcoming Avengers films?
The question was put to Keen during an interview with Phase Zero, and while she wasn't about to confirm or deny anything - assuming she even knows what's in store for her character - she is very excited at the prospect of getting to play the hero again.
"I would love to come back. I would pay them to come back.

Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy has shared another batch of hi-res stills from the movie with the spotlight back on Blade (Wesley Snipes), Elektra (Jennifer Garner), Gambit (Channing Tatum), and X-23 (Dafne Keen).
These offer a detailed look at the costumes worn by each Variant, something we're sure the cosplayers among you will be eternally grateful for.
"Kid in a candy store doesn’t even begin to describe it," the filmmaker said on Instagram. "These four heroes flew over to England a week in advance of shooting just to nail down all of their fight choreography. The day before they were supposed to film, our industry shut down with an actor’s strike and everyone went home."
"These four pals came back as soon as shooting resumed and delivered at a level you all now know. Honored to bring these characters to the big screen, and lucky to call them friends.

In Deadpool & Wolverine, the clawed mutant meets Laura, his "daughter" from the Earth-100005 timeline. We first encountered her in 2017's Logan, with Wolverine making the ultimate sacrifice to give her and the other young mutants a chance to fight for the future.
While the threequel's Wolverine is a Variant from an unspecified reality, he ultimately chooses to make a home for himself on Earth-100005 alongside Laura (who was saved from The Void by the Tva).
However, it's now been confirmed that X-23 is not a Variant. Instead, she's the real deal from Logan!
"Shawn and Ryan are very intelligent people," actress Dafne Keen told ComicBook.com in a recent interview. "I was ready to be that annoying actor that's like, 'And what about this?' They had an answer for everything. [I said], "So how long has it been, am I Variant, what's going on?'"

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ was released over a week ago, and the movie is smashing box-office records while being a critical success. The movie marked Wolverine’s and Deadpool’s foray into the MCU but also the return of legacy Marvel characters such as Garner’s Elektra, Snipes’ Blade, and Evans’ Human Torch.
One of the legacy characters related to the Fox X-Men franchise was X-23 portrayed by X-23. Keen denied several times that she was in the movie, only for her role to be revealed a few days before the movie was set to premiere worldwide.
It made all the sense in the world for X-23 to be in the movie considering her significant role in ‘Logan’ released in 2017 and the fact that the events of the movie are heavily referenced in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’ The latest ‘Deadpool’ installment sees Keen’s X-23 all grown up, and the actress...

Garner’s return as Elektra was one of the A-list superhero cameos in “Deadpool & Wolverine,” and she revealed that Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy originally pitched the role to her while working together on the 2022 film “The Adam Project.”

In the present world of superhero films, it is extremely challenging to maintain secrets. The uncountable set leaks, reports, and sometimes even the official trailers significantly spoil the movie. Recently, it was also observed in Deadpool & Wolverine where the appearance of Dafne Keen’s X-23 from Logan was spoiled in the trailer itself. However, Hugh Jackman was highly impressed how unlike, Deadpool 3, 2017’s Logan maintained its big twist.

In one regard, In a Violent Nature is one of the most unusual horror films in recent memory. So maybe it’s no surprise a sequel has been announced. But while endless sequels are part of the fun of slasher series, In a Violent Nature isn’t the sort of story that needs a follow-up.
‘In a Violent Nature’ has a nod to a famous horror sequel
From a storytelling perspective, In a Violent Nature is pedestrian. It’s the tale of a killer who rises from the grave, slaughters some teenagers, and gets defeated. The film doesn’t even try to hide how derivative it is. The film has some geeky homages to earlier slasher movies like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Friday the 13th Part 2 just to let genre fans know the filmmakers know exactly what they are doing.

One of the major concerns that many fans had with Hugh Jackman’s return in Deadpool & Wolverine was how it deals with Logan‘s ending. Not only the James Mangold-led film was deemed one of the best superhero flicks of all time, but it also served as a tearful conclusion to Wolverine’s journey and gave Logan the ending he deserved.
But while the grounded tone of the rated-r flick complimented Wolverine’s nature, especially the action sequences, the Adr recording session for one of its most iconic scenes is unintentionally hilarious.

Spoilers for "Deadpool & Wolverine" follow.
As expected, "Deadpool & Wolverine" is loaded with plenty of surprising cameos. That's just how the MCU rolls these days, and while some of the cameos have been revealed in trailers (for instance: Marvel dropped a final trailer that just flat-out gave away the return of X-23 from "Logan"), a chunk of the cameos remained unspoiled. Perhaps the biggest bunch of cameos comes in the middle of the movie. During this portion of the film, Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson aka Deadpool and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine are stuck in a drab, grey void. After fighting each other to exhaustion, they're brought to a secret location and introduced to a group of Marvel characters from previous films who are fighting to escape.
The group includes Dafne Keen's Laura aka X-23, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Channing Tatum as Gambit, and Wesley Freakin' Snipes as Blade.

Deadpool & Wolverine is packed full of jaw-dropping cameos, though at least one was revealed in advance by Marvel Studios. In the threequel's final trailer, we were treated to a glimpse of Hugh Jackman's reunion with X-23 actress Dafne Keen after they last shared the screen in 2017's Logan.
Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, The Acolyte star confirmed director Shawn Levy reached out to her about playing Laura again with the idea being that "she brings a lot of humanity and empathy to [Wolverine's] character."
Breaking down her pivotal scene with Logan when she inspires him to join the fight against Cassandra Nova, Keen recalled:
"Imagine losing your only father figure in life, only to reunite with your father almost ten years later, but he doesn’t know that you are his daughter and he doesn’t have that bond with you in return. So it’s...

[This story does not contain major spoilers for Deadpool & Wolverine. But it does contain spoilers for The Acolyte.]
Twenty-four hours after Dafne Keen performed the tragic demise of her Star Wars: The Acolyte Jedi, she was reviving her signature role from Logan in Deadpool & Wolverine.
At age 11, Keen played Laura/X-23, the cloned daughter of Hugh Jackman’s Logan/Wolverine, in James Mangold’s revered superhero neo-Western. On account of the character’s immediate popularity, there was talk of a potential X-23 spinoff, but she was soon lost in the shuffle of the Disney-Fox merger that began nine months after Logan’s March 2017 release. The Oscar-nominated film also served as Hugh Jackman’s farewell to his defining role, and the absence of Keen’s “anchor being” only lessened her chances of continuing on in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, the merger eventually gave way to the MCU’s Multiverse Saga, allowing for just about any combination of...

Don’t read this article if you would like to watch Deadpool & Wolverine or Alien: Romulus completely unsullied. Or Total Recall. Or Lord of the Rings. In fact, please go away now!
Trailers have been responsible for ruining a whole lot of movies. More than three decades ago, if you happened to be watching Paul Verhoeven’s classic sci-fi romp Total Recall but had already seen the promo material, you probably wouldn’t have been particularly shocked at the moment when memory-addled Arnold Schwarzenegger guns down his own wife and utters the immortal line: “Consider that a divorce.” Nor would you be surprised to note that Benny the Martian driver is really a mutant, that our hero was once much more than a lowly construction worker, or that Schwarzenegger does eventually release oxygen on to the surface of Mars in the film’s denouement.
That’s because all these...
