This movie is absolutly brilliant, great cast , also great storyline. Henry Thomas once again gives a great performance as a young college grad, who goes to Hollywood for a P.A. job, and hopes to make a script that he wrote into a movie. Will he be able to do it? Will he survive his P.A. job?
Other great performances are given by Scott Thompson, and Niel Mandt. 10/10

Once again it is "revenge of the PAs" on a tired movie about movie makers and getting the movie deal. yawn.. I suspect the filmmakers thought this would be revenge on all the producers that mistreated them so. However, in the face of this drivel they should be banned from any set.

"Hijacking Hollywood", a one-man-band indie, tells of a naive wannabee director (Thomas) who goes to Hollywood to break into show biz and takes a job as a gofor. He rooms with a more savvy Hollywoodite (Mandt) and together they hatch a scheme to hijack some film stock and hold it for ransom to get a stake for a movie they would like to produce. The film includes a lot of time spent on the gofor goforing on the freeways of L.A., stereotypical characters who are all gross exaggerations for comedic purposes, some clumsy token sex and nudity, and, believe it or not, a mildly entertaining story. Recommended for people in hospitals in full body casts or traction who can't get to the remote but need something to take their mind off the itching.
This movie is a great satire of Hollywood. The fact that everyone in this film is working on "Moby Dick 2" is hilarious. All the lead actors are great in this, Henry Thomas who does very well as the nervous inexperience PA who also has a wonderful scene where he plays with an ET doll, you have to love when an actor is willing to poke fun at his past. Scott Thompson is ever irreverant as the off-the-wall producer. And Neil Mandt delivers some of the funniest lines in this film as Tad. This movie isn't only funny but it's also smart in it's plotting and it's scathing satire of the film industry.
I LOVED this movie, It's about this kid that works as a PA on a movie called Moby Dick 2. His roommate Tad, works out a scheme to kidnap the film and hold it hostage for about $150,000, the jokes in this movie are really funny. Neil Mandt gives a great performance in this fine film. Just looking at him will make you laugh. I definitely recommend that you rent this one, you won't be sorry
