At a time when Lisbon was the scene of international espionage games, the Royal casino became a meeting point for secret agents working in the Portuguese capital. Its owner, Artur Royal, is drawn into the intrigue by his English friend Philip, when he discovers that Alverca, one of his most esteemed employees, is secretly working for Nazi Germany. Royal will have to undergo unforeseen efforts when he decides to disguise himself as a Sevillian in order to extract as much information as possible from Hitler's spy. Blackmail and extortion are common practice throughout the casino corridors.
