A soft core comedy with a dark side

Erwin C. Dietrich was the pornographer of Switserland in the 70's. His movies can be compared to the numerous risqué comedies made in German in that period, but were more concentrating on the darker side of sex. In this way he can be compared to Jesus Franco the director that brought us dark, sick porn.

This is early in the 1970's though, thus the porn was limited to soft core sex. In this movie however all women seem to walk about in the nude almost constantly. The storyline is poor and only used as a pretext to show naked bodies. Should you be interested: the plot has something to do with a couple of guys kidnapping girls to put them to work in brothels and nightclubs. In this movie there is quite a lot of soft SM and bondage too.

A lot of stuff in this movie still reflects the usual comedy style in porn so popular in the 70's. And for that some of the top actors of the genre were hired, such as Josef Moosholzer, who appeared in many of the soft core movies in the 70's. In this movie we see him in long underwear with flowers attached to them, taking pictures of a brothel girl. Very outdated fun.

The bondage and SM-scenes, even though soft core as well, are treated more seriously. Perhaps Dietrich's real love. By todays standards they are hopelessly outdated and uninteresting.

The movie has all the characteristics of its era: colourful, bad acting or overacting, lots of innocent nudity and silly jokes. Should you be interested in the nude episodes only: there are plenty of them, but the female cast is mediocre at best. And let us not even mention the male cast...

This movie can only be enjoyed by the very few who dig silly 70's nude comedies.

The best I can do: 2 out of 10.
