Sprawling Twelve Seasons, the series followed a group of brainiac friends and their exploits in love, life, and the search for knowledge.
The show garnered ten Emmy awards, four of which went to lead actor Jim Parsons, yet the show never nabbed the Best Comedy award.
The series has also spawned a spinoff series, Young Sheldon. Another spinoff series is in the works at Max, but the plot is unknown at this time.
While the series creator, Chuck Lorre, has continuous success with sitcoms on CBS, what has the main cast done? Find out below!

Brutal British crime drama Gangs of London is back for a second series on Sky Atlantic and Now, with a release date of 20th October in the UK and 17th November in the US, and it’s looking as dark and gritty as ever.
When the explosive first series launched in April 2020, this story of the turbulent power struggles of London’s criminal underworld – centring on the Wallace family and various other international gangs – was an instant hit, at the time becoming Sky Atlantic’s second-biggest original drama launch behind Chernobyl. As dramas go it’s a thrilling powerhouse of a series, full of epic fight scenes and twisty narrative, and certainly isn’t for the faint-hearted gore-wise.
Now it’s back for a second series, fans will certainly be looking forward to seeing their unanswered questions resolved, as well as being introduced to new players in this savage power game.

Why not, indeed?
The back half of the season has done well by giving us these dark, intriguing cases and attempting to balance the characters in each installment.
While there were obvious leanings toward Burgess and Ruzek during Chicago Pd Season 9 Episode 20, the case took precedence, and everyone was thoroughly involved in a manner that felt like the early days of the series.
As far as cases go, this was another deliciously dark and layered one. They've taken some huge swings with some of the cases this season, and they've succeeded in capturing the perfect tone and getting us invested.
It turns out that Chicago Pd, when it delivers shades of Criminal Minds, with its own spin, of course, is the makings of the perfect formula.
You're going to get eaten alive in prison, I'm going to personally make sure of it. You understand? Huh?

The Book of Boba Fett, the latest Star Wars spinoff series to hit Disney+, cracked Nielsen’s top 10 chart for the week of January 3 to 9 as Cobra Kai had a strong repeat No. 1 showing.
Cobra Kai tallied 2.15 billion minutes of streaming for the week, down just a bit from the 2.4 billion it racked up in the prior week. One-third of its audience was in the 35-49-year-old age bracket, Nielsen said, and 40% of viewership occurred in multicultural households.
Nielsen measures only streaming via a TV screen for Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, Apple TV+ and Amazon’s Prime Video. The measurement company said the week was the third-largest total ever recorded for overall streaming, behind the Christmas and New Year’s weeks.
The holiday surge lifted all titles, including the two Disney titles on the chart. Encanto, which had a 30-day theatrical run before being added to Disney+ as a title available for all subscribers,...

Paramount+ is still on track with its reboot of classic procedural Criminal Minds.
This comes despite reports last summer, stirred by comments by series star Paget Brewster, that the project might have been dead at the streamer.
Nicole Clemens, President, Paramount+ Original Scripted Series, said, “We are still very much in development on Criminal Minds. We’ll have more to share on that soon but it is alive and well.”
Clemens, who took on her new role at the streamer last summer, in addition to running Paramount Television Studios, said that the delay of the reboot was down to the executive shuffle at the company rather than anything to do with the project itself.
Paramount+ Renews ‘Seal Team’, ‘Mayor Of Kingstown’, ‘The Game’
Last February, the streamer revealed that it was bringing back the series, which ran for 15 seasons on CBS, with the team coming back together to investigate a single case over 10 episodes.

As this year’s Sundance Film Festival comes to a close, the mostly virtual event introduced a hefty number of films worth getting excited about beyond the festival. The hope was this year would have marked a return to an in-person Sundance, but this year’s festival still played home to a wide variety of wonderful films.
From new works from some of our favorite filmmakers to rising stars making their debuts, our favorites include the latest from SXSW winner Cooper Raiff (the charming “Cha Cha Real Smooth”), Aubrey Plaza’s latest leading-lady evolution (“Emily the Criminal”), a pair of character-centric dramedies starring some of our greatest living actors, provocative documentaries, the inevitable Kanye West deep dive (“jeen-yuhs”), and at least one movie about a very big egg and the girl that loves it.
At publication, a number of these films have already been picked up for distribution; some even have release dates ready.

Exclusive: Lucifer, a drama that debuted on the Fox broadcast network before becoming a Netflix show in 2018, topped Nielsen’s list of the most-streamed original series of 2021 in the U.S.
The 93 total episodes of the series netted more than 18.3 billion minutes of streaming during the year, according to the measurement firm’s year-end report. That put it well in front of Squid Game‘s 16.4 billion, but the Korean phenomenon had only nine episodes on Netflix in 2021. Roughly 15% of viewership was tallied by U.S. viewers of the Korean-language, subtitled version, Nielsen estimated, with the rest in an English dubbed one.

The acclaimed writer and his longtime artistic partner, Sean Phillips, introduced pulp hero Ethan Reckless only 10 months ago and have just released a third graphic novel starring the private eye. The latest installment, Destroy All Monsters, is the most personal chapter yet as it dives into the history and friendship between Ethan and his trusty confidant, Anna.

Mystery fans, rejoice!!
There's a new Acorn TV Original right around the corner, and it's very, very good.
P.D. James wrote 14 novels based on detective and poet Adam Dalgliesh, and the new series simply goes by the title Dalgliesh.
Bertie Carvel is bringing the enigmatic yet emotionally intelligent and empathetic Dalgliesh to life in a season set in 1970s England.
Dalgliesh specializes in solving unusual murders. The cases may sound relatively benign, but they unfold unusually and strike a chord with the viewer.
We'll first meet Dalgliesh looking into the murder of a nursing student poisoned to death during a live training demonstration (it's a death that sticks with you!).
Another investigation will involve the murders of a homeless man and a recently resigned Tory MP whose throats were slit in a London church.
Dalgliesh will also be called upon to solve a series of suspicious deaths at a home for the disabled.

Earlier this awards season I warned you not to count out Sophie Okonedo (“Ratched”) when making your Emmy nominations predictions. Well, not enough people listened to me, as she was the only Drama Guest Actress nominee who surprised pundits on nominations morning. The other four — Alexis Bledel (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Phylicia Rashad (“This Is Us”), Mckenna Grace (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) and Claire Foy (“The Crown”) — all placed within the Top 5 of Gold Derby’s combined odds. Now that Okonedo has secured the nomination, the hard part is over. I now think she’s going to win that Emmy.
Netflix’s period drama series is based on the 1962 novel “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” and the 1975 film of the same name. Okonedo joined the “Ratched” cast in the fifth episode, “The Dance,” as a new patient at Lucia State Hospital named Charlotte Wells. Charlotte is treated for dissociative identity disorder by Dr.

When making your Emmy predictions for this year’s Best Drama Guest Actress category, remember one thing: voters love multiple personalities. This year no one fits that bill more than Sophie Okonedo, who took on the challenging role of mental institution patient Charlotte Wells on Netflix’s “Ratched.” Charlotte is treated for dissociative identity disorder by Dr. Richard Hanover (Jon Jon Briones) and Nurse Mildred Ratched (Sarah Paulson) at Lucia State Hospital, with some of her personalities being Ondine, a boastful musician, Apollo, an aggressive athlete and Baby Taffy, an innocent child.
The Emmys often go crazy for actors who undergo dual roles — just ask Toni Collette (“United States of Tara”), Lindsay Wagner (“Bionic Woman”) and Sally Field (“Sybil”). More recently, Tatiana Maslany claimed the trophy for playing countless clones on “Orphan Black.” If Okonedo is recognized for “Ratched,” it would be her first career Emmy nomination.

Noomi Rapace and Nicholas Pinnock are joining Matthias Schoenaerts in the star cast of “Django,” an English-language reimagining of Sergio Corbucci’s classic 1966 Western. Set in the Wild West of the 1860s and ’70s, the project marks one of the biggest high-end European series of 2021.
Star of “Prometheus,” “Sherlock Holmes” and “What Happened to Monday,” Sweden’s Rapace will play Elizabeth, who is described as a powerful and merciless enemy of John Ellis. Along with his fiancee Sarah, John Ellis is the founder of New Babylon, a city of outcasts which welcomes everyone from any background, race or creed.

Poor Red just isn't going to be allowed to find happiness.
We finally got to discover who Anne was on The Blacklist Season 8 Episode 13.
And surprise! She was just as she seemed to be, an innocent tourist who Raymond happened to run into at a New York City park.
This being The Blacklist, the consensus among viewers was that she was a plant by somebody who was out to seduce him.
And it appeared he had done the right thing back on The Blacklist Season 8 Episode 8 when he stood her up for "North by Northwest."
All he would have to do then with deal with regret and he's far too busy for that to linger.
Red really should have known better than to pursue Anne any further. After all, it's dangerous for any civilian to be around Red, as this episode proved with gusto.
It also had a real what-if feel to it.

If anyone expected Elliot Stabler to follow the NYPD's lead quietly after his wife's death, they don't know him very well.
There was only one word for the spinoff series featuring Stabler joining Organized Crime as part of his bid to get justice for Kathy: different.
Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 1 Episode 1 offered a far grittier series than viewers may be used to. It felt at times more like a crossover with The Sopranos than part of the Law & Order franchise.
A new series like this is always challenging to follow.
While the kickoff on Law & Order: Svu Season 22 Episode 9 featured many characters we knew on Organized Crime, everyone was a stranger except for Stabler, his family, and Benson.

The Grammys are often dominated by men, especially in rock and alternative categories. They’ve won the race for Best Alternative Album most of the time since it was created 31 years ago. In fact, only two solo female artists had ever taken home the prize before: Sinead O’Connor for “I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got” (1991) and St. Vincent for her self-titled album (2015). This year, however, a woman did it again thanks to Fiona Apple (“Fetch the Bolt Cutters“). Check out the complete list of Grammy winners here.

Exclusive: The long-running CBS procedural Criminal Minds is eying a double comeback on Paramount+.
As Deadline reported last week, a scripted revival series with original cast members is in early development at the ViacomCBS streamer. We now can reveal that a companion unscripted series also is in the works at Paramount+. The project is expected to be announced at ViacomCBS’ streaming presentation this afternoon.
Tentatively titled The Real Criminal Minds, the true-crime docuseries will feature a real former FBI profiler. It will examine real cases and real criminal behavior, illustrated by clips from the fictional Criminal Minds series. Talks are ongoing, but I hear the idea is for a prominent Criminal Minds cast member to host the program. Paramount+ originally mentioned its intention to explore a true crime show with a Criminal Minds connection in the streamer’s inaugural slate.

A “Criminal Minds” revival is in early development at Paramount Plus, Variety has learned from sources.
As the project is still in the early stages, details are still being finalized, including which of the original cast members would return. However, sources say that longtime “Criminal Minds” showrunner and executive producer Erica Messer would return to work on the revival. As with the original series, CBS Studios and ABC Signature (formerly ABC Studios) would produce.
Reps for Paramount Plus and ABC Signature declined to comment. Reps for Messer did not immediately respond to Variety’s request for comment.
Created by Jeff Davis, “Criminal Minds” was an incredibly popular procedural for CBS, running for 15 seasons and 324 episodes. The series concluded its run on the broadcaster in February 2020.
The show followed a team of FBI profilers who worked for the Behavioral Analysis Unit. Over the course of its run, the cast included stars such as Mandy Patinkin,...

Tollywood The films portray experiences that a lot of ‘millennial’ Telugu audiences who watch films on digital platforms might recall with a tinge of nostalgia.Jahnavi ReddyScreenshot/Aha Video The year is 2005. A young man in rural Andhra is eager to learn about computers, but to his disappointment, the degree college in Kambalapally of Mahabubabad district does not offer a computer science course yet. When a brand new internet gaming centre comes to his village, the man, Ravi, treats the owner of the establishment and the sole computer there with deep fascination, and even reverence. This is the premise of Mail, an endearing Telugu film that released recently on the Ott platform Aha. The film transports the audience back to a time when the smartphone wasn’t an extension of one’s body for a lot of people. Mail is set in a village, and its world is rather distinct...

The Grammys’ rock categories are usually filled with interesting, though sometimes questionable, choices. This year in particular, the rock genre boasts a lot of noteworthy contenders ranging from hard rock to more Americana-inflected music. Let’s take a look at who’s in the hunt for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song nominations this year.
The Killers might be the front-runners with their hit “Caution.” The song was number-one on rock and alternative radio, and the band might be overdue for a Grammy at this point with seven past nominations and no wins. Joining them will likely be Brittany Howard with “Stay High,” which could earn her a win due to passion for her potential Album of the Year contender, “Jaime,” not to mention the fact that she’s been nominated five times before for Best Rock Performance, including a win for “Don’t Wanna Fight” in 2016 with her band Alabama Shakes.

The Grammy for Best Alternative Album often includes some of the recording academy’s most inspired choices in terms of nominations. Past winners like David Bowie’s “Blackstar” and Radiohead’s “In Rainbows” were critical darlings, and often one or two nominees here can cross over into the general field. Let’s take a look at this year’s contenders.
Fiona Apple’s “Fetch The Bolt Cutters” is undoubtedly leading the pack. The album was massively acclaimed, receiving one of the highest MetaCritic scores of all time, and Apple is a consistent nominee for her work, earning eight nominations so far including a win for her breakthrough single “Criminal.” With “Fetch” being hailed as the best album of the year so far by multiple publications like Paste and Stereogum, and being a big contender for Album of the Year, a win for Alternative Album is likely, which would be especially...

After watching two episodes of ABC’s new drama Big Sky, from creator David E. Kelley, I’ve narrowed my responses down to a pair of possibilities: The first is that despite a strong creative team and a cast of TV favorites, Big Sky is a very bad show. It’s tawdry and manipulative, basically ABC’s version of Criminal Minds. And I’m fully aware lots of folks loved Criminal Minds. The second is that the pilot for Big Sky is a feint, a misdirect, a near-parody of tawdry and manipulative shows like Criminal Minds and the violence against women that fuel them. The second episode,...

The general field at this year’s Grammys will be interesting to watch. Given the current political climate in the US, the recording academy has made efforts to diversify itself, and this may be reflected in the nominations too. Let’s consider which artists are primed for Album of the Year glory.
All eyes seem to be on The Weeknd’s critically-acclaimed blockbuster “After Hours” to compete for the top honor. “After Hours” would definitely be an odd man out in the history of winners; it’s noticeably darker and more explicit than past champs. However, it may be the perfect time to honor a Black artist after complaints that the Grammys usually pick white winners (the last Black artist to win this award was Herbie Hancock in 2008 for his collection of Joni Mitchell covers).
In recent years acclaimed albums like Beyonce’s self-titled collection and “Lemonade” and Kendrick Lamar...
