A Poem a Day is a medical drama with focus on the romance genre. The story involves doctors who work in a rehabilitation clinic, as well as nurses and trainees. We expecially follow the story of a young physical therapist, who meets her ex love interest in the clinic and falls in love with the new team leader. Now, the medical cases weren't that interesting, as they were short, few and didn't give us neither many information on the situation nor some closure to them. The romance, however was very nice with the love triangle slowly developing into a strong one. I do wish there were more episodes, though, cause the drama focused on the romance and didn't give many details on the other characters stories. But, overall, it was a sweet and cute drama, which I much enjoyed, so 8 out of 10.

At first I just don't like the pace, they're really did Lee Junhyuk as a cameo in the first episode, like it lasted 3 eps before he started to had a better screentime just like the other leads. There are some that doesn't sit well with me, should've been focused to the side characters' development which I don't like in this drama. Shin Minho deserved NOTHING, he really pissed me throughout the episodes, he's a walking red flag. Stop saying he deserved better when he's literally not.
The only thing I want in this drama was they focused abt the healthy relationship between the main couple, they're both green flags. Ye Jaewook was the standard from the start until the end, he's matured and kind. His character outsold any kdrama male leads in just one breathing.

A medical drama of physiotherapist. Sounds different?? Yes it is...
A love triangle but its not about who will she choose. Its about finding the poetry in an average human soul.
It's not a thriller medical drama but quite romantic and very poetic or I must say a beautifully poetic.
There is one poem in every episode and all are amazing, I felt like it should go on and on. This drama is perfect for me, great poems about life and situations, deep.
This is a show about the compromises people make to make a living, people who opted for a steady, safe income over their dreams.
Leads: Talking about the leads .. The ML is not a jerk and the FL is not a pushover and damsel in distress.
For the first time I didn't get SLS in this drama. The male lead is the second lead of all those dramas who should be the male lead. He is mature, calm and composed.
He never mistreated her and he always treated her with respect , thats one of the things I love about this drama. Finally, a mature main lead who is not childish...Oh! He is a dream man. Lee Joon Hyuk portrayed the character beautifully as always he does in every drama. He is adorable!
Lee Yoo Bi is truly delightful to watch. She is quirky, cute and pretty confident.
Music: So sweet!
"Feeling" by O When is the best.
Background scores are soothing and relaxing, you can listen to it everyday while doing your work.
Lastly I would like to say that this drama will heal you. It will give you the definition of every relationship.
An underrated drama you should watch. Remember, the ride is slow but smooth and veryyyy soothing. There is nothing extraordinary in it but still you will feel like it shouldn't end.
I am still not over this drama. Will I ever be?? This drama will stay in my heart forever.
PS: My favourite poem I want to share here:
It Only Rained After You Left by Yeo Rim
It only rained after you left.
The rain turned into heavy rain and i pictured you sitting in the bus with an upset expression on your face.
I felt my heart becoming sore.
There are times when people can't be comforted by words.
I sit blankly while looking out the window.
And even when i close my eyes as if i'm tired, a part of my consciousness becomes that much clearer.
It only rained after you left.
In every street corner where i send you off.

When I first saw the title, I thought "medical + poetry?", can't get along, so I shouldn't waste my time on this. But then I found a love story similar to mine, so I ended up watching it. And it was so refreshing that I fall in love with my Mr. Knightley all over again.
I like the fact that the female lead is not a pushover and the male lead is not a jerk. cause we get it all the time in Asian dramas.
It's a hilarious drama and a great mood-lifter. It's really well-made and well executed.
But this is a slow paced drama. It's nothing like other medic dramas with lots of thrill, rather it's a very poetic drama. The way they related a right poetry for the right situation and gave us different messages or a warm feelings is actually really impressive and quite beautiful. It is more like a "slice of genre" drama.
This drama realistically showed a lot about the life and struggles of radiologist which is really cool. My respect and understanding for physiotherapist grew a lot after watching this.
But this drama is probably good for more mature viewers, teenager may not really like it as much. But I had a very refreshing enjoyable time and I always go back to watch it time to time.
