Last season was an unusual one for Fox. The network aired nine scripted series and didn't cancel any of them. Fox continues introducing and renewing new shows even with low ratings as long as they are owned by the corporation. It's important to be able to keep licensing fees under control and monetize programs in various ways. Which Fox shows will survive the 2024-25 season? Stay tuned.
How do the execs decide what to cancel or keep? They look at a lot of economic factors, but the ratings still play a large role. The higher the ratings, the better the chances a show has of surviving. These 2024-25 season charts will be updated daily, as new ratings data becomes available.

It seems Accused just delivered a triumph for domestic violence survivors, even if it was more fantasy than reality.
Keeping up with the theme of up and down installments to Accused Season 2 Episode 6 was a reasonably solid installment compared to its predecessor, Accused Season 2 Episode 5.
There was a focus on mutual trauma and a shared sisterhood between two unlikely individuals.
(Courtesy of Fox)
You can never go wrong with Cobie Smulders, and her portrayal of Val felt tailor-made for an actress who is adept at portraying wonderfully complex, flawed, and occasional hot mess characters.
In this case, Val wasn’t so much a “hot mess” as she was a domestic abuse survivor and single mother who was trying to get by while taking care of her son and ensuring that he would never end up like his father.

Mekhi Phifer is coming to Law & Order!
While there’s no word yet on who he will play, TV Line reports that this is doubly exciting news because he will interact with several other ER alums, including Maura Tierney, who plays Jessica Brady, the new head of the homicide department.
While there is a definite connection between ER and Dick Wolf Entertainment, this is not an ER reunion, and Phifer’s guest role on Law & Order is good news for far more important reasons.
(NBC/Screenshot) The Connection Between Dick Wolf Entertainment and ER Explained
Whether by coincidence or design, there have been many ER alums who have shown up on Dick Wolf shows.
Most famously, Mariska Hargitay was on ER before landing the role of Olivia Benson on Law & Order: Svu.

We’re seeing some shows take time off now until January. Others are just taking a break. It’s time to look at the TV schedule for Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Tonight is a night of reruns on CBS. All three FBI shows will air episodes, but they won’t be new ones. This is likely for scheduling purposes to spread out the content and to put the fall finales into December to make the winter break feel a little shorter than it otherwise would.
FBI will get a rerun of season 6, episode 10, “A Family Affair,” and we’re heading back to FBI: International season 3, episode 10, titled “Red Light.” As for FBI: Most Wanted, it’s a rerun of season 5, episode 3, titled “Ghost in the Machine.”

Is a How I Met Your Mother reunion possible? (Photo Credit – Facebook)
One of the most popular sitcoms of all time, How I Met Your Mother, continues to entertain its fanbase long after its infamous finale in 2014. Cobie Smulders, who portrayed one of the main characters, Robin Scherbatsky, in what turned out to be a career break of a lifetime, recently addressed the speculations surrounding a Himym reunion while promoting her new project, Accused, a Fox anthology series.
In an interview with Collider, Smulders addressed the present scenario of a How I Met Your Mother reunion. The actress seemed enthusiastic in her response, saying, “Always, anytime,” dismissing any notion that she wouldn’t be interested. Smulders, however, was quick to remind that she had returned to the Himym universe in a guest appearance in How I Met Your Father, the Hulu spinoff starring Hilary Duff. “I was lucky to do...

Well, that was something.
Overall, Accused Season 2 has been hit or miss with the installments, and this one falls closer to the latter than the former.
“Margot’s Story” involved a senior-aged woman who became enamored with a con artist and wanted to exercise some control over her life and feel alive.
(Courtesy of Fox)
At least, that was the gist of the hour and what Margot had to say at her trial.
In some ways, the hour could’ve had things that I find most endearing like lively senior-aged women still trying to make the absolute best out of their lives or a second chance at love sort of romance that may or may not have involved a younger man.

Yes, a Tupac quote came to mind while watching Accused Season 2 Episode 4 and Michael Chiklis‘ tour de force return to the series.
If you’re a music fan with eclectic taste, you know the intersecting point between Rap and Country is in the storytelling that often gives voice to disenfranchised communities, which society ironically loves to convince are more different than similar.

And that’s decidedly not the case, whether in sprawling rural communities or urban cities, from Appalachian regions to rust belt towns like the one featured in this hour.
As a result, two different music genres could have the same message and resonate so profoundly.

Exclusive: Max’s upcoming medical drama The Pitt is already making a lasting impression, months ahead of its debut. And it’s not only over the headline-making lawsuit from the Michael Crichton estate alleging ties to his creation ER — something The Pitt auspices and studio Warner Bros TV vigorously deny.
The intrigue has to do with the series’ unusual casting process that resembled hiring practices at a general company, where people apply for a position at a fixed salary denoted in the job listing — in this case $50,000 and $35,000 per episode. That technique is also employed by several current episodic crime anthology series including CBS’ Elsbeth, Fox’s Accused and Peacock’s Poker Face for their Guest Star of the Week, who are getting between $75K-150K. (More on the sizes of each of these fixed fees in a bit.)

We’re looking forward to the start of another weekend. The great news is the networks give us something to mark that, and tonight, Friday, Nov. 8, is packed with drama and sports.
Fox has the night of sports. After initially starting with a rerun of the Accused season 2 premiere, the network will run into college football coverage. UCLA hosts Iowa in the Big Ten matchup, with live coverage happening from 9 p.m. Et.
Fire Country, Shark Tank, and more
CBS has a packed night of drama. While it all starts off with Swat, we have to look at the new episode of Fire Country. There were some great parallels in the previous episode as we watched Manny deal with life in the prison fire program and Bode start his career as a fire cadet. Now it’s time for a daring elevator rescue while there’s a power outage caused by the high temperatures.

It’s all about Election Night across the United States tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 5. Here’s what you can watch on the broadcast networks.
As soon as Election Day was set for Tuesday, Nov. 5, we knew what that meant for our favorite TV shows. There wouldn’t be episodes of our favorite shows. It’s always about the Election coverage, as each network will have its own reporters and own needs.
Election coverage on all networks
Every single one of the Big 5 networks will air coverage. They have their own specials, focusing on different parts of the country and different aspects of the Election.
Ignore what the TV Guide listings has included up to this point. It did say that Fox would hold reruns of Accused and Murder in a Small Town, but that isn’t the case. Fox’s own press site makes it clear that it’s own election coverage is happening.

Yellowstone fans may be gearing up for the return of their favorite series on Paramount Network, but the upcoming spinoff The Madison has star Patrick J. Adams excited. TV Insider caught up with the actor, who is best known for playing lawyer Mike Ross in USA Network‘s long-loved hit Suits (pictured below), as he appeared on Fox‘s courtroom drama Accused, and he teased his joy over the new gig he’s taking on. Slated to play Russell McIntosh, a young investment banker who has followed the life path set before him, Adams couldn’t divulge any specific details, only that he’s very much enjoying the work. Ian Watson/USA Network/Courtesy: Everett Collection “I wish I could say anything about it, but I feel the minute I say a word, someone will bust through this window and shut me down,” Adams joked when we asked him about the project.

It's going to be a bit of a wait for the next episode of Accused. When does the Fox series return?
Accused was a good breakout success for Fox in early 2023. Adapting a British series, the anthology tells a different story each week of someone on trial. As the episode unfolds, flashbacks show the setup to the crime and often revealing that the actual crime isn't what the audience expects.
The show stands out in how each episode tells a brand new story with a big-name actor in the lead role. After a successful first season, it was renewed, only to be delayed by the 2023 Hollywood strikes. Fox decided to hold the show back until the fall of 2024, when it premiered in October with their usual lineup.
The show has maintained its quality in the first few episodes. It keeps with top guest stars such as Felicity Huffman, Taylor Schilling and Nick Cannon.

The third episode of Fox’s legal drama, Accused, touches upon a number of interesting and topical issues like the extent of dependency on tech in the administrative sector, racial profiling, and the question of accountability and morality. In the third episode of the ongoing season, the central case of the involuntary murder trial isn’t as important as the context behind the incident is, which eventually turns out to be the deciding factor in the verdict issued by the jury.

A friendship ends in tragedy on Accused Season 2 Episode 3.
In the critically acclaimed hit series Accused, Nick Cannon and Patrick J. Adams play strange bedfellows as polar opposite best friends and business partners at a tech company.
But one scandal causes a friendship built on a rocky foundation to crumble, eventually turning fatal.

We had the privilege of catching up with Accused and Suits star Patrick J. Adams to break down that intense hour.
Check it out below!
Obviously, Accused is just such an incredible project to get into. What attracted you to the script and this role?
Well, first of all, just the series as a whole. It’s such a great platform for actors. It was so clear that it’s a show, production, and team that wants to be a venue for bringing in great actors to work on great material. So the company they keep is so wonderful.

Spoiler Alert! This post contains details from Tuesday night’s episode Fox’s Accused Season 2.

Things couldn’t be going better for Marcus (Cannon) and his business partner Pete (Patrick J. Adams), who are about to become billionaires after they sell the AI-powered facial recognition software they’ve developed to Google. Their euphoria over the pending sale is short-lived, though, after an anonymous caller demands millions to stay quiet about a discrepancy in the software’s accuracy, which shows greater likelihood that the software will misidentify people of color.

With a title like Escape from Planet Klongo, you just knew Only Murders in the Building Season 4 Episode 9 would come roaring back to form. And boy, did it deliver.
Plus, the meta-jokes were on point — when Ron Howard’s picture was put up on the murder board, and Oliver casually dropped, “Oh, look, it’s a real celebrity,” I couldn’t help but laugh.
I love it when a show can poke fun at itself.
(Disney/Patrick Harbron)
After the complete slog that was Only Murders in the Building Season 4 Episode 8 (which only seemed to exist to clear the Westies from the suspect list — yawn), this episode hit all the right notes.
It had twists, laughs, and some genuinely touching moments between our favorite trio. It’s exactly the kind of episode you want right before a season finale.
