- Zu is newly sober and finding her way in the world when she receives news that she is to become the sole guardian of her half-sister named Music, a young girl on the autism spectrum. The film explores two of Sia's favorite themes -- finding your voice and what it means to create family.
- While struggling to recover from alcohol and substance dependence, Zu reunites with her non-verbal autistic half-sister, Music, after the sudden death of a dear one. After all, life is a series of unexpected events. As newly sober Zu tries to find her feet as Music's sole guardian, she soon realises that the estranged relative's life is one long, challenging schedule. But sometimes, help and support may come from kind-hearted next-door neighbours and even from compassionate superintendents. However, Zu still has a lot to learn. Family is the glue that keeps it all together. And inside Music's mind, there's a vibrant fantasy world full of dance, songs, and love.—Nick Riganas
