Genius show if you are familiar with these kinds of north London characters and dysfunctional small family businesses. It's really about Stath, his family and colleagues not the flats.
Brilliant characterisations and attention to detail of mannerisms, pronounciations, mangled turns of phrase, and class and family dynamics.
Another one to add comedy high street alongside Phoneshop and Job Lot.

This series is relatively unknown (at least outside the UK) at the moment and therefore easy to miss by the big audience but after I watched the whole first season I can say: they have left me thirsty for more!
Hands down very funny! Very awkward but very funny. It needs to feel uncomfortable, that's the whole point. Some childish elements are there but it gives the series it's own strength. Stath wouldn't be a miserable let agent failing to do his job properly if he wouldn't be so childish would he? What would be the point following someone like that then?
The performance of his sister or Al are incredible. I almost can not believe they are not like this in real life. That it's all acted. The empty look on his sisters face sometimes. Priceless! On this show they know when to stop filling the scene with words and lines and just instead use a lot of awkward silent moments/looks. Pretty good.

Great piece of comedy. Ok it's not to everyone taste and some people think it's cheap and tacky humour but it really isn't. You just don't get what the writer is getting at. It's extremely cleverly written and that is why it was recognised for the awards. I really hope JAmie isn't done with this and we get to see some
More. Best thing I've seen on British tv in a while.
Give it a go - you will know within a few minutes whether you are going to like the kooky awkward style of comedy or not
Its quite tame and gentle but I really enjoyed it and hope he makes another series
